Brenon you are a genius. Thanks for this great info that nobody shares or talks about. Plus I really liked your mockups and I'm gonna buy them for my shop
@@brenondopp Sales are good! Already selling Christmas stuff, so I'd love to see a Christmas trends video, if you don't already have that lined up. Thanks!
@@sciencesnark833 Nice job! That is super exciting! Sounds like your preparation for the holidays is already paying off. Also, awesome video recommendation. I will add it to my list of future videos to make. Thanks!
How does the seller get so many reviews? What steps are they taking post sale to get a buyer to leave a review? I've tried personalized msgs and coupon codes, but what's the trick. 🤔
When we first started, we would send our customer a follow-up message after tracking showed they received their order to make sure they were happy with it and that there were no issues. If they responded and loved the product, we would then invite them to leave a review with a picture to be entered into our monthly raffle to win a free item of their choice from our shop. This required some extra work, but it helped us a lot in the beginning stages to get our first handful of reviews. Other than that, it sounds like you are doing all of the great strategies to encourage customers to leave reviews. I hope this helps! I wish you the best! Thanks for watching!
I really dislike when youtubers tell people to "go look at someone's store and "take inspiration"". Because all they hear is "go copy someone else's designs". Just reported a few people this week who had literally ripped my design off the background, recolored a few elements and apparently it's now "their own". Not only this will lead to copyright strikes against your shop, you will also never get your OWN bestseller this way.
Hi! I apologize for the late reply. I'm very sorry you are dealing with other sellers stealing your designs. I've been there and it's very frustrating! I do agree that this is a huge problem on Etsy, which is why I try to be very clear in my videos that going and copying well-performing designs will not bring you success. It's important to understand the market, which is why I make trend research videos like this one, but you have to create something new and unique based off of trending elements/topics and create things that people are actually searching for. Inspiration and plagiarism are two totally different things. No one will buy from a new listing that has no reviews, especially if there is the same design already selling well with hundreds of positive reviews. For those of you that are reading this, I never recommend copying other best-selling designs for the very reasons @RailinX mentioned. Please respect other sellers and bring something unique to the Etsy marketplace. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! I wish you the best!

@@brenondoppit's so sad but people jump to give bad reviews but never for the good ones
