      @brenondopp Thanks for asking - I 'm actually going to take the opportunity to share my biggest POD issue, because I really could need a video about this! ;) I'm in the beginning of my POD journey and have yet too few listings to launch my store (but no shortage of designs). But right now I'm a little bit stuck, trying to figure out several details concerning the Etsy/Printify connection. For example, if I change A in Etsy, will that too automatically be changed in the same listing on Printify? and the other way around, for example concerning shipping profiles and personalizations and maybe other things. It seems like it's sometimes possible to set up two different selections e.g., shipping profiles (on E + P) but then I am not sure which of the two it will be in the end, if it makes sense. (Might have been easier though if English was my first language.) And maybe it's not this way, but in short, I don't feel I have full control over these things.
      So it would be awesome if somebody ever would make a very detailed video about this!😊 Anyway, thanks again for your videos, I really appreciate them! 🙏 And it's inspiring to see people like you guys who have succeeded to achieve a life with lots of freedom!

    Great as always, much appreciating the info.! I'm building my Etsy shop as possible while being disabled via a car wreck among other follies. I used to be a campaigner of The War of 1861 through the Old West eras. Until I sell more of my Etsy POD, I need to have more funds to pre-pay for the items that are ordered until reimbursed and profit is received, I need to sell my handmade things outright to build that income. I'm learning.

    Brenon you have a fantastic channel! I wanted to attend the stream live but could not due to scheduling.
    I had planned on starting an Etsy shop back in September, but got scared off by the chatter of shops getting banned or items getting delisted. The latest being the mock up drama, which you did address here. However, you are very motivating and now reconsidering.
    If I go ahead, I plan on definitely listing on other platforms as well, Red Bubble Tea Public etc. Already tried Amazon Merch On Demand and got rejected. I'll try again in January, after the 4th quarter. Not putting all the eggs in one basket is SOOO important.
    The HUGE plus to Etsy though is an email list so I want it to work!
    I am still worried about getting banned for something unknown. You mentioned if you obey the rules you should be OK. I'm going to search your channel for a video about the most common rules people are getting banned for. If you don't have a video like that, you should consider it.
    Thank you very much!

    Hi Brenon! I missed the live but here I am. I want to do phone cases and would love a tutorial on how to do that with Printful and Printify. It is trickier than I thought but would love your input on this product in particular. I am trying to make Christmas and am almost ready to post. Am I too late? Today is 11-14-23. Love all of your help and encouragement! Carrie

      Hi! Thank you for the video recommendation! I will add it to my list of videos to make in the future. You're not too late to publish listings for Christmas but it is coming to the end of the window so get your listings up as soon as you can. Ideally, you want to have your listings up at least 2-3 months in advance so that they have time to rank and gain momentum before shipping deadlines so that you can maximize your profits. I wish you the best! Keep up the great work! Thanks for watching!

      This is the hard part of selling. But keep in mind it can happen any where. So all you can do is keep designing and don't worry about those people. They're always one step behind you. Plus you are already ranking for those keywords so use the momentum to get more sales on new items. Good luck to you.

    Hi Brenon! If considering starting with POD, should I revive my old etsy shop that I started in 2020 selling handcrafted jewlery, or start a whole new etsy shop? I've neglected my etsy shop due to a lack of time to tend to it for 3 years but I want to start up again with using printify (inspiration: your videos!). However, once I have more time, I'd like to also start selling handcrafted goods again (in addition to the print on demand items). Can these coexist in the same etsy shop (and be understood by the esty algorithm) or should I just start over with the print on demand only?

      It's definitely hard in the beginning. Just remember in these times that it does take a few months to get things going and even longer to get regular sales. So just keep going creating new things will keep you busy. It can be discouraging seeing others succeed. Just try not to compare because we don't know how they're getting that traffic to their store. Good luck to you.

    Hi Brenon. Thank you for all your informations that you are giving us. I have one question, if you can help. I started with POD in September, watching and watching videos. Most of youtubers are saying to check the best selling items, use their keywords to build the SEO. And i did that, but I’m not getting views, even with adds.And as a new seller, if I’m using those keywords, and are in high competition, how I’m gonna be found? Or is better to use keywords that the competition is not high? I really want my shop to work…

    • @brenondopp
      @brenondopp  10 месяцев назад

      Hi! Remember it takes time to gain momentum and you can't expect immediate success. When it comes to keywords it is important to use proven keywords that buyers are searching for. I do keyword research but try my best to not overcomplicate it. Yes, the higher the search volume and lower the competition, the easier it will be to rank higher, but it’s hard to ONLY use keywords with high search volume and low competition. This is why I use a combination of both as well as very specific long-tail keywords. Your main goal is to think like a buyer and use keywords that would connect your buyer with your listing. The better you do this, the easier it will be for Etsy’s search engine to understand what it is you’re selling and who to put your listing in front of. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
