Good info. Do we have to pay tips to the driver (taxi or Uber)? And if yes, how much?
@@as-1982 See my video on tips. Tipping is not mandatory. Nevertheless, if the service was good you can leave 2 to 4 €
Thank you very much, the information from the video from part1-3 are very clear and easy to follow. Love it!
Thank you so much for your appreciation.
It definitely helps me in making more videos like these...
There are also regional express buses that connect Roissy CDG to various places in the suburbs for the price of a t+ ticket. I often used a service to Torcy RER A station, then the RER to Paris.
Great video!!
Thanks 🙏
big up from Algiers
👍🙏👍
Bonjour. I found your videos very useful. Thank you. Last time I was in Paris, I got a Navigo Easy, but found that it did not always work on the scanner. Was not sure whether it was the card or the scanner in certain stations. Have you ever had a problem like this?
Thanks for your nice comment.
I have both the Navigo Easy and the Navigo Découverte, and never had any issues like this.
Maybe next time you should ask at an office to change your Navigo Easy...
Thank you for the tips! If traveling with a family of 4, it seems that Taxi is worth it if we can all fit in a single taxi since 4 separate RER B tickets would cost about 45 euros. However, 4 people with luggage would probably not fit in a normal sized car. Are there larger taxis that can accommodate full families at CDG?
Yes, some of the taxis are vans, where you would fit 4 people and luggage...
But they are quite more expensive, around 100€...
What is ticket office (selling Navigo weekly pass) working hour? Do they open 24 hours?
Up to my knowledge, they open from 7AM to 8PM.
I understand that there is a flat rate from the airport to Paris for a taxi. Is there also a flat rate from Paris to the airport?
Yes, it's the same flat rate in the other direction...
does roissybus include in navigo pass?
Yes, Roissybus is included with the Navigo weekly pass zones 1 to 5 at 30 €.
VERY USEFUL INFORMATIVE VIDEO. I HAVE A QUESTION. HOW CAN I GET TO TIM HOTEL BOULOGNE RIVIS DE SEINE FROM CDG AIRPORT
Honestly, the best option is taxi.
In public transport, you would need to take the RER B, plus 2 métros and then walk for 300m
Is there any way to purchase the navigo weekly pass in Orly just like you showed in CDG? I’ve read there’s like a booth but they sell like 10 daily, thanks in advance
There is a small RATP counter outside Terminal 4, in the middle of the bus stops, at the Orlybus stop. You can buy a Navigo card there. Opening hours are limited: in the morning it opens around 7 a.m. and closes around 12:20 p.m., in the afternoon it reopens around 1:10 p.m. and closes at 6:30 p.m., no extension.
Thank you very informative. How can I get from CDG airport to first hotel paris tour Eiffel?
You can take the RER B until Denfert Rochereau and then switch to metro line 6 and exit at station Cambronne. The hotel is just 50m away.
Or you can take the taxi for a flat rate of 58€.
Thank you very much.😇
My pleasure!
Does the RER B from CDG go to St Michel Notre Dame? Our hotel is on Rue des Bernadins and it looks like it is a short walk from St Michel to the hotel? Merci!!
Indeed, St-Michel-Notre-Dame is one of the 6 stations of RER B inside Paris.
Exit the station on exit 1, at the front of the train, as there will be a lift there for your luggages.
From there, it will be a 7-minute walk to Rue des Bernardins (where France president used to live🙂)
@@paristoptips Merci! You are amazing!
You make me blush 😊
first of all, thank you so much for ur this helpful vedio , Im raveling with my wife and 2 children ( 8 years , 1 year ) for 6 days ( tuesday till monday ) and may we are goning to palace of versallies and desnyland, do u recommend a Navigo Découverte ? and do i have to buy for my kids ? and i have to bring photos for each of us ? and the service will add aditional cost for stamp the photo ? thanks alot for ur support
A navigo Découverte is indeed the right solution for the two adults. Your youngest kid will travel everywhere for free. For the older kid, Navigo Easy with reduced fare pack of 10 tickets seems to be the best solution, along with half price tickets to Versailles and Disneyland.
You need two photos for the two Navigo Découverte and there is no additional cost for the service.
@Paris Top Tips, It was a very usful video and it helped me a lot. I would like to ask you something. I'm going to travel to Paris in May for three days. You said that the RER ticket from the Charles de Gaulle airport to Paris includes and the metro. How many times i can use this ticket for metro and where can i get this ticket?
Tickets to Paris allow use of the RER / Metro connection in Paris for 1h30 after validation at the airport
@@paristoptips Thank you very much!!!
@@georgepapadakis7422 My pleasure!
While a taxi is definitely the more expensive option, if 2 people are travelling and sharing the taxi then the difference is not as much and after a long overnight flight, who doesn’t want the convenience? Can you tell me if the taxi rates already include a tip or should we tip separately? What percentage or amount should we consider for a tip? Thank you
As for every price in France, service is included, so tipping is not mandatory (see my video about tipping), but as the taxi fare will be 53 or 58€, you can give the taxi driver 3 to 5€ as a tip, if you have cash on you, as you can't put tip on a credit card.
@@paristoptips Thank you Alain. That is very very helpful. I have watched all of your videos but will be re-watching and making notes. Will you have an eating recommendation for April? Keep up the GREAT work
I'm happy it helps.
Yes, there will be a restaurant recommendation by the end of this week 🙂
The orlybus it's included in the navigo pass weekly?
Yes, it is. The Orlybus as well as the Roissybus, but, beware, not the Orlyval!
@@paristoptips thx for the information
We will be travelling to Paris in September and would either like to take the Roissybus or taxi. We have to get of at Les Halles Subway Station. Does the bus stop nearby? And if we take the taxi is the price 53 Euro per person?
@@daleneswartz8705 The Roissybus stops at Opera. You would have to take the RER A from there, which is not really convenient with luggage.
So either you take RER B direct from the airport, or a taxi, which is 53€ for the taxi, not per person!
@@alainec1 Thank you!
By train RERB. Jatinkumar
Good choice!
Is the 54 Euro the same price for a taxi if you have four people in your group?
The prices have increased to 55€ and 62€. But yes, it should be the same price up to 4 people.
Hi , Thanks for your information ❤ I watched all your 3 pars ❤. Its very interesting.
I just want to ask , I am little bit confused
1)I am coming to Paris ( Friday to Sunday morning) on this Friday morning 10am to Orly airport . From airport to City center, could you suggest best and cheapest transport card do i need to take ( I dont have any luggage only backpack).
2) To see all main places in Paris which transport card do i need to take.
3) For return on Sunday morning to orly which transport do i need to take from city centre
Please suggest in detail of transport and card to purchase plans with names
Please help me 😮
You should travel from Orly to Paris and back on the Orlybus. You can purchase a Navigo Easy card (2€) and charge on it two Orlybus (2*10€05) and a pack of 10 t+ tickets (16€90). 39€ in total!
@@paristoptips Thanks for your reply 😍❤️
My pleasure!
@@paristoptips , u telling total 39€ Why can't weekly pass which cost 30€ only , I can use all 5 stages include airport as well ?? I have a question , could you please answer on it
You're right, but the Navigo Découverte is 30 € for the weekly pass plus 5 € for the card, plus a photo. And you can't buy a Navigo Découverte on the Friday for the weekend: it would only start on the following Monday. Depending on the number of times you will take the metro, you might not need to buy 10 t+ tickets, but less.
If I land on Terminal 1. Will i walk to Terminal 2 for use RER B.?
No, you can't walk between those two terminals. There is an automatic rail shutle (CDGVAL) between those 2 terminals, but you won't have to go to terminal 2 as there is an intermediate stop called Terminal 3 - Roissypole which is directly above the RER B "Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1" station.
@@paristoptips Thank you for your good information. Tonight I'll enjoy on your Channel.
