- Hi everyone! I spent the day wandering around Hongdae and Myeongdong trying to take in all the autumn leaves that came out over the weekend. I got a lil Halloween spirit and watched the sunset at a royal palace which I highly recommend^^ It feels like autumn is saying goodbye this weekend so buckle up for winter content soon! my husband and i have been watching the Harry Potter series. we timed it so we watch the last movie on halloween. and we bought a harry potter advent calendar that we have been opening throughout the series 👌😆😇 hope yours is fun!

Halloween is basically canceled this year in LA. Yearly WeHo carnival is canceled and trick or treating is highly discouraged for kids/families.

here in Mexico at the first of november we celebrate the day of the dead, and we do "ofrendas" for our family or animals that had passed away, almost everybody does this it's beautiful and it's full of marigold but it sound better in spanish like cempasúchil. that flower is beautiful. And thanks to my cats I've never had a paranormal experince. take care cari

The death question is interesting! I'm Chinese, not Korean, and I really don't know much about our culture surrounding death. But this video reminded me of a story that my mother used to tell me, that everyone who goes to the underworld meets an old lady at a bridge who gives them a type of tea or soup or something that erases all their memories and helps them reincarnate without the burdens of their previous lives. Just a seasonally appropriate tidbit!

My first and hopefully last personal ghost experience: I heard a child crying in my sister's room. I thought it was her (she was a child at that time) and was wondering why. But when I opened the door, the room was dark and there was no one. I was very confused.
Later, I thought this could have been a ghost, even though I'm absolutely not into this paranormal activity stuff.
Anyway, I love your autumn impressions in this vlog. ❤
Your story with the pillow always freaks me out 🙈 I also have one story of when I was 15 and on a trip with a group of girls and we were staying in the woods in a really scary old house in the middle of nowhere. And the only adult left with her car in the evening to get groceries. So we were already kind of freaked out to be alone there in the dark. And then suddenly we heard really weird knocking sounds from outside the house. So we went into another room where the windows were to see if the women came back and wanted to scare us. But the car wasn’t there. And then we also saw a light outside but coming directly out of the forest pretty close to our house. So we closed all the windows and hid in the bedroom until we heard the car coming half an hour later. We were all completely frightened and really happy when the women finally came back🙈

Oooo love the spooky stories! I only have one truly spooky moment: It was the middle of the night and I had just taken a shower. I was the only one awake at that time-- (I know.. a little inconsiderate of me..) I was returning to the bathroom to put my towel away when I saw a wet handprint on the wall. My first thought: "oh it must have been me" But it was too high for me to reach. My second thought: "Oh maybe it's like handprint oil residue that's just showing up in this lighting..." But then I saw a drop of water drip down.... To this day I have absolutely no clue what that was lol
i would have found a way to never use that bathroom again hahahahah

I was just like “lol, if this was a horror movie I would totally die right now, and then I was thinking about how ironic it would be if I recognized that that is what would happen but I just casually go to bed anyway. And then I decided it was too late for whatever meta irony spiral my brain was about to go on and I actually just casually went to bed 😆

I've seen Ghosts my whole life. It runs in my family. Most of them are family members. But others aren't. When I was in school I had to tell them, while I was doing my school work to leave me alone. They did. Three times a year I put salt all the way around my house to make sure it's safe. Only allowing the good spirit's in. After all I'm part Native American. So, this past on from that.
For Halloween. We are going to watch Parasite. I've seen him. But Mother hasn't.

around this time last I year I was in Seoul to enjoy the Autumn season, but this year just stuck in my bedroom lol. it's so nice to see that Seoul is pretty much kinda back to normal where everyone can can go out happily, enjoying the city view. here at my city, we had to go for lockdown 2.0 :(( thank you for bringing us for another great walk, Cari! The palace walk is really perfect for autumn.
Glad we can still enjoy autumn even if its a lot different than last year!

queens gambit is amazing and she is sooo good....also this outfit black dress and white collar looks amazzziiiing on you....i think you need to rebrand your self and wearing this outfit moreeeee....and yes i believe in the other spirits that are every day aroundd us. they want to communicate with us, and they do it only if they know that it won't scare us. i do hear them and ''see them'' and they connect with me, almost every day the last 2 years.... i had this since i was little, but its now that i don't afraid so they came back and it makes me happy.......its all good.

As someone who is currently experiencing Spring, this vlog makes me miss the Fall season 🥺
Also spooky story time : One time I saw the ghost of a boy on a school uniform going up on my stairs. It was so vivid but faint at the same time so I got very scared and confused. The next day my friend (without me telling her) said that she saw the same exact ghost, she even described the uniform perfectly. This was years ago but I can't still forget about it.

13:02 honestly lmao when i was under a study abroad program, i mostly hated my decision to live off-campus. we moved 3 times before settling in myeongdong and i hated the commute mainly bc of the loud music at 9am and people pushing when im trying to get home after a long day at uni. but it genuinely saddens me to see how empty it is now. i hope all the mom and pop shops that served the best tteokbokki are doing okay and will bounce back after this

Loved the Halloween coffee and cakes. Your pillow story a bit scary but I can understand that happening. Shannon my granddaughter used to always wave to someone as she sat at the bottom of my stairs and told me it was a man she was waving at when she was 3/4 years old. Oooohh....love your spooky stories. I actually had 3 different things happening to me that I don‘t have any explanation for. One time I woke up in the middle of the night, because I felt someone sitting on the side of my bed. You know that feeling when there‘s weight on your bed when someone sits down. That is exactly what I felt and when I woke up from that this spot still was warm. Another time my tv turned on in the middle of the night and the weirdest thing was that it definitely wasn‘t in standby mode and my remote was not anywhere near me. Aaand last but nor least in the basement of our house it happened 2 times that when I went through there in the evening, because I had to put my bicycle there, a music box went on. Like out of nowhere! Yay....!

I am from Mexico and actually today 02 of november we celebrate "El dia de los muertos" trans the day of the dead and for me its one of the most beautiful traditions Mexicans have. And I have heard that its similar to what Koreans do on Chuseok. El dia de los muertos is actually very good explained and portraited in the Disney movie Coco. Please watch it🙈 its a really pretty movie and it really shows how the Mexican tradition is.
