Thankyou so so much for hosting this contest Johnny. I had so much fun for making this park, and seeing you and Xellixor was a blast! Good luck to the other competitors!
It may have just been perspective, but both coasters looked very snappy on the transitions. How much smoothing or what smoothing techniques did you use?
@@TKDragon75 oh it wasn't perspective, on the wooden coaster specifically tried to make the transitions as snappy as I could, as I was modelling it after real life wooden coaster by the company GCj ehich is known for their transitions. As for the mins train, I was trying to get the track snapping to match real life heartlining. So that is is why the trains appear to "snap" from side to side. I achieved this by simply turning on angle sbap to 15 degrees, and then when going into a turn (lets say left) I would turn the track 15 degrees to the right using the shortest track possible. Then lengthening track segment by 3 or 4, and simply turning by to the left. After that just smooth the segment out so it isn't made out to be rough
It's an Amazing park, the theming is really well done! Congratz Capital Thrills! @Jonny You probably couldn't select the sequencer at 5:30 because it was probably not into any building, and you were trying to select it from the building editor mode, to select it you should going out of the building editor mode and then, click on the object from near.
What a kick-off to the Master Bracket. I am ready to walk the plank and head out on a pirate adventure. Your scenery was lush and vibrant. I liked your ride integration and your skins were great. Your coasters were very enjoyable. Keep up the great work! Yo ho Yo ho a pirates life for me.
This is my number 1 so far.... just kidding. The mix of Pirate and Steampunk works very well for me. And as i am a sucker for density and complexity, this park is my cup of rum... the rides were fantastic, the skins soooooo creative and immersive... what could one ask more for? Love it...
You know what? Props to you for SKINNING a freaking CHAIR SWING!!! This is a really good park overall with some great theming and good coasters! And it’s better with the commentary dawg!
Better question peg leg or hook hand? 🤔 Fantastic park as well Capitol Thrills, some fine work showing off what you can do with pirate theming. Excellent start to the masters bracket!
I loved this park so much. Great use of those sci-fi pieces to add some steampunk without making it look tacky and out of place (which is so easy to do by accident...) my ONLY comment, which is a minor one, is that some of the elevated paths didn't have railings.
Watch a ton of your videos. I don't even play planet coaster but respect the levels of creativity and dedication people put in. Anyway, I noticed you mention your index finger was killing you. Use your middle finger on the scroll wheel.
3 yrs of waiting and in 2 weeks ill be able to create my first park. After watching everyones fantastic time a smidge envious...its tiiiiiime! Jhonny, u ready for a new playlist, "console edition." I WILL BE FEATURED 😂
I don’t know if I’m being nit picky or I’m not noticing something but the coasters arnt as good as we continue up the bracket or am I tripping? Thoughts? I am also a coaster enthusiast so I may be too harsh judging the ride. Other than that fantastic work!
Since you asked, I’ll say you’re being too nitpicky regarding the coasters. Capital Thrills has their own YT channel - he’s a major coaster enthusiast and I just don’t see him copping out when it comes to coastermaking.
His two coasters were actually better than most I've seen the last few episodes. Most of the expert bracket had beautiful parks but absolutely horrid coasters. It was refreshing to these coasters!

Great work on this Capital! Unique combination of themes, and you pulled it off beautifully.

Johnny: "Arrr Ye Matey"
Me: *sigh* 2nd times the charm!
Johnny; first time I’m not satisfied with your exploration. I felt a lack of seriousness and some missed things...
I love the park !
Blunderbuss pirate leg would be awesome

This is just incredible, no wonder it's on the master bracket! So many details, I love it, this would attract millions annually irl for sure!
