- Another weird configuration for a former NS/BNSF modernized unit! This time with and NS radiator and an BNSF long hood. Plus a rare look at Roy Hill's first Battery electric unit being load tested prior to testing!

Three locomotives. Three different engines. Amazing.
Nice variety out there lately.
@@stephankoenig5481I agree
Nice to see a ac6000 in the test real cool
I’m suprised that NS has already rebuilt a former BNSF DASH 9 into an AC44C6M.
Excellent video my friends awesome like 👍🏻 and Greeting 🙋🏻♂️
Thank you and greetings to you too!
Whoa so weird combination of the gray Orange and black colors on the locomotive
Incredible Video Mate 😎
Thank you my friend!
The 6006 is the former CSX AC6000CW (my favorite diesel of CSX). I wonder what former number is the unit.
Former CSX 652
@@stephankoenig5481 interesting
Awesome video and very nice to see AC6000 test track action! Also glad to see RHA 2001 out at load test? Any idea if it will test this summer?
@@galaxyrailfanning7860 possibly in the next couple weeks.
Cool catch!
Wait so why does NS 4849 have NS 4619's radiator? Did it end up in a wreck or something?
NS 9619.
4619 is still around as of today.
Just a combination of parts from being rebuilt.
Wonder what's with the WNYP AC6000CW? Any chance Wabtec could be overhauling them?
No plans indiacated. Find it interesting that they have a similar frame length to the new battery units though.
Interesting combo! - Jenny
It is always nice to see something different!😊
Nothing a whole lot of paint won’t fix.
Who owns the black and yellow 6000 unit???
@@MikeGMalone Wabtec does. It came from the WNY&P.
how often do these trains run in am hoping to go see them soon
It's sporadic. Best times are morning before noon.
@@stephankoenig5481 ok thank you maybe I will see you there
When is production for NS C6Ms expected to finish?
@@Elifilmstrains towards October. The completed units are slowing down in favor of csx.
@@stephankoenig5481what do you mean is CSX doing them too?
@@Railfan-uf9mw Yep theirs are not BNSF though.
I call 4849 the Frankinghostnorfolkandsouthern unit

It is brand new!
@@stephankoenig5481... Oh Ok also are they planning on making another Battery Locomotive for Roy Hill or just the RHA 2001 with the Pink Paint?
@@zdthelehighlinerailfan5362 One for them and 4 for Rio Tinto.
@@stephankoenig5481... Ok but when will the 4 units for Rio Tinto will be out??
@@zdthelehighlinerailfan5362 Towards the end of the year into 2025. Also 1 for CN and 10 for UP.
Any Mbta update, will they make 1071/1072 a heritage unit, 010 in progress in let me know.
@@samstranghorwitz waiting for 1034 to test. The others are in progress.
Even 010 is in progress, and do you know if 1072 or 1071 will get a heritage and will any of the rebuilds have steel bells. Or it’s only e bells niw
No plans for heritage units so far.
@@stephankoenig5481bummer, thanks for the info no plans on different bells right. Also do you work for or do anything for wabtec.
@@samstranghorwitz Horns and Bells are according to what the customer wants. I write news about them.
At this point which company actually owns GE/BNSF/NS 4849?
Its the second to last of the NS owned units.
I don't get it which is the Australia engine?
It's the pink and gray one they show after the weird units.
Is it in Erie pa?
@@Trainboytherailfan yes it is.
NS 6006? Another hertiage unit?
nope, former Bath and Hammondsport AC46 returned to Wabtec after a 5 year lease
