I noticed the three year old video, but you guys are so precious , and you’re right the Lord is so good his angels were encamped About your children, and as adults, they still are even the grandkids thank the Lord for his grace and mercy. He sent the right teenagers to help and kept your baby safe from ungodly people, and that babysitter should’ve kept our eyes 👀 on the kids , but y’all also precious. What an inspiration you two ladies are, reminding me of my mother’s relationships with her sisters. I am 85 years old and grew up eating delicious Southern food! I have watched tons of cooking videos, and yours are by far the best!

Here in Scotland 🏴 We call those Triangle Apple Pastries as "Apple Turnovers" they often have Whipped Cream in them too...And Dusted with Sugar. Yum. 😋

Wow I thought apple dumplings was a movie. Never had them on the west coast. But I’m sure going to try these. Wish I could have seen them when they were finished. I loved your story about your daughter. My brother and I did the same thing. We left home and were going to my grandmas house witch was about 5 miles away. An elderly man and his wife picked us up. He was driving a yellow cab. My brother told them how to get to grandmas house. When we got there my grandma called my mom and asked if she knew where we were. Mom thought we were outside playing and didn’t even know we were gone. My brother was 4 and I was 3.
I just feel like I’m in the kitchen with you. You are so kind to each other. We do get outside on our own property. Getting cold so no gardening now. God’s will be done. Love you guys!

Loved watching this and will definely be making these they are a quicker version of apple dumplings then the passed down version my farming family have used down through the years. The Apple dumplings my family has made over the years after they are baked and cooled one spoons two or three of the dumplings in a bowl (cereal type bowl) pour some milk over them sprinkle with some sugar and eat. This would make a quick delicious desert snack on busy days.

My sister passed away at age 32. I was 34. We were very close so much so our first born children were born the same year one month a part. The two of you make me wonder how it would have been if we could have age together? I'M 72yrs old now and our daughters wil be 53yrs old.

In Denmark we had 250 gram, not they want to deprive us of value, so they make everything smaller and butter is sometimes 250, sometimes 200 grams and very seldom 500 grams as they have in Sweden where everybody knows how to bake.

When I was a girl we traveled to Alabama to my Dad's Uncle's house. His mother inlaw made a wonderful apple desert alot like this!😋🙂

I had that pain (arthritis) in my hands. I started taking collagen and it went away...and many other aches in my body and joints

We don't have little sticks of butter in Sweden. We have mostly 1/2 kilo packages. So I don't know how much is one stick?
1 Stick of butter = 1/2 cup (USA) or 113 grams.
