Yellow Dog - Just One More Night (1978)

Yellow Dog was a British based rock band from the 1970s. Founded by the American songwriter Kenny Young, who had previously been a founder member of Fox, the band enjoyed a solitary Top 10 hit in the UK Singles Chart in 1978 with "Just One More Night". The single was written and produced by Young. The band were managed by John Morris, at the time the husband of singer Clodagh Rodgers.
Sorry I cut the punchline "No" from the end of the song but it was ruined anyway by the DJ talking over it immediately. I assure you it is more listenable like this.

Featuring the great Phil Palmer in the red waistcoat, one of the best guitarists you may never have heard of. Nephew of the Davies brothers (The Kinks) and long time touring guitarist with Dire Straits and Eric Clapton. Check the youtube video of Clapton at Knebworth where he famously breaks a string in the middle of a solo. Phil Palmer takes over while Eric changes guitars. Also worth watching for Tessa Niles on backing vocals.
