Hello! Can you show the full process/settings that you go through before printing to make the right order of pages for a book when you print it? Im struggling with that. Thank you!
Hey there! Fellow Bookbinder here! I stumbled across your channel while I' was looking for fickbinding, and I noticed you're using the We R Memory Keeper's hole punch! It's a great tool, I love it! Got a tip for you though! When you've settled on which holes you want to use, use a dry erase marker to put a little mark beside the holes you want to use. This will make sure you never miscount, and keep your holes consistent! It's been a lifesaver for me! Thanks for the video! Will be checking out more!
I'm currently on the process of printing a -reylo- fanfic into a book so naturally I come to look for videos for tips, tricks or anything that I might be not taking into consideration just to go "wait, is that a reylo fanfic...? IT IS!" I just had a dopamine rush, thank you very much.
This was both relaxing and exciting ☺️ I’m so ready to try this. I tried using adult colouring books as a stress reliever but I think that bookbinding would be more satisfying because I feel like I’m actually accomplishing something.
how do you keep track of all the pages? they’re not numbered so i can imagine if something went wrong there would be a lot of pain. also, how do you format the pages to print in signatures??
I have page numbers on all of them (or at least on the ones that matter) just like any other books. To print the signatures, I format the document as a book fold layout and select the appropriate "sheets per booklet" depending on total page count.
How do you get the first few pages to work? I've been trying for ages but I can't seem to arrange the text on the pages in the correct way. I also love your content!!
Tbh, as long as it’s a toner printer it doesn’t really matters that much which brand it is. Toner won’t smear with water or humidity, unlike inkjet. I have a Brother HL1110 printer that’s working perfectly fine, and it’s not the fanciest out there.
I don't recommend HP laser printers. Brother or Lexmark are better; I'm actually trying to switch to a Brother printer as soon as I see a good deal on Best Buy.
i swear to god this made me cry i want one of these so bad and i LOVE landscape with a blur of conquerors
Pls don’t swear to God

Hi! I actually have this process as an unlisted video for my Patreon subscribers only.
I just use a program called Booklet Creator that'll format the pages into signatures for you from a pdf.
@@Rebekah_withanH thank youu!!
ruclips.net/video/y3jae1cuvSo/видео.html this video has a really good tutorial on that with some free programs!
@@Rebekah_withanH omg that is soo smart thx 😊

This was so therapeutic and so well done! You’re amazing! 😍 I’m all dreamy and sleepy now in the best way. 🥰
That is how authors make books. Fascinating!
This was very therapeutic. I hope to start bookbinding someday, you make it look so easy.

This is so calming. The music reminds me of Pride and Prejudice (2005) and I love the music from that film.
Me too!! I also like the actors in it
This is very satisfying to watch 😊

@omgreylo your work is phenomenal! I got into bookbinding on your inspiration 😍😍
Dats a lot of damn pages
What kind of paper are you using??
Idk what these are from but I respect you IMMENSELY and want to do the same to my faves
Where could I find the same ruler for making holes?
I got mine from Amazon. It's called the We R Memory Keepers Book Binding kit
The punching sounds sound like crunch, crunch, crunch 🤭 It's somewhat soothing...?
What kind of printer do you have? I’m looking to get a new one and need a good one.

I use the book fold layout in Word & select the appropriate number for sheets per booklet depending on the total page count
Some of my signatures seem to print as if they were double exposed. And yet my document is not like that. Any suggestions?
Hi! May I ask if this has a next video? I wanna watch how you bind them together
how do you set up the typeset for this? ive got a pdf of the fic i wanna print, but i dont have a clue how to format it 😬
I have typesetting tutorials (including video) on Patreon.
Can you recommend a good printer? I know my little $40 printer isn’t going to cut it 😅

Can you use any printer or does it have to be a specific one?
Love your video, where did you get the hole puncher!? I NEED it
It's from Amazon, but it's also in Michaels (slightly more expensive). Look for We r Memory Keepers book binding guide.
what is the name of the tool that you using for hole.. please provide name and link for buy.
nice video over all.
What printer did u use
Do you print all of your books on this printer or do you take your stories to staples of wherever to be printed?
I do everything in-house, from typesetting to printing to casing in. I don't trust Staples or any other company to do it right/my way.
@@omgreylo what type of printer do you use?
Do you have a link or a name for the special ruler you used?
it's called We R Memory Bookbinding Tool. I have the same at home
@@hannarekhavi3478 Sweet, thank you!
I've just started binding and need a new printer. Would you recommend this one? Is it laser?
I don't recommend HP laser printers. Brother or Lexmark are better; I'm actually trying to switch to a Brother printer as soon as I see a good deal on Best Buy.
what's the name of the paper??
I think this one was 11x17 Hammermill paper that I cut in half
Hi. Hope you see this😅. What kind of paper do you use for printing?
Looks like regular printer paper
What kind of ruler did you use?
I use a Westcott graphing ruler currently. It's listed under bookbinding here: amazon.com/shop/omgreylo
Ah yes all the Dream SMP fanfics are mine I tell you mine.

Without any explanation of the process or how you determine dimensions etc. I find these videos practically unhelpful.
