There's animated movies with Batman's son, but you can't make Justice League movie without Batman so they need to introduce a Batman into DCU before Justice League movie. I'm on board with getting some new stuff though as I don't really know Authority or Swamp Thing at all and Supergirl hasn't been done as a 'modern' movie yet, but DCU needs Superman and Batman introduced in first chapter no matter how many movies they plan to make with them being central focus. They kind of should introduce most, if not all Justice League characters before they make actual movie, but so far only Batman, Superman, Green Lantern have confirmed projects, but Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Martian Manhunter (based on Animated Justice League series really) are that comes to mind that should be there. Always happy to see some surprise characters though, but hard to say as there's usually pretty much standard lineup for 6 and then Cyborg or Manhunter as 7th.

The Batman wasn't a great movie. I enjoy Batman movies to see Batman doing Batman things. Beating up bad guys, using his gadgets, etc. Battinson wasn't that. You saw him doing "Batman things" MAYBE 2 or 3 times. For a movie that was that long, it just wasn't enough Batman for me.
