The problem in my case is my laptop went onto some repairs because of a defective motherboard. After it was repaired the Microsoft Office is not activated and needed some login to activate. But after I logged in, it only shows that the Office is already installed on the device.

I have exact same thing as yours, additional in my case bitlocker problem occur so, have to reinstall windows now the problem isn't resolved. I don't found cloud an all office. It show purchase option even after sign in
Ok no issue. First check by login your id and checking under the subscription tab is there any subscription shows or not if shows and still you have same problem than you need to call Microsoft account activation team they will reactivate and give you activation ID.
I reset the pc , but its not showing that purchase history thing , please help !!! I am jot getting it back

Maine 2nd laptop liya tha usme ms office 2021 hai par old owner ke mail id se active hai
Nahi aisa nahi kar sakte , per phi bhi ek baar microsoft activation department toll free no per baat karke dekho

I have student and home edition which i got when i bought my laptop. If i purchase the ms 365 and try it for 1 year, can i revert back to home and student version after 1 year?
Yes you can but Frist you register your home and student version once register it will show you under subscriptions section under your profile . After that you can uninstall this from control pannel and install O365 .and whenever you want to use home and student version over a year on any time you just login with your office registered Microsoft emai l id go to profile under profile click subscriptions and there you got your lic just click on install and after install just logn this with same mail id

How do you know which email you'd used to register? As my ms suite was always downloaded and set up by the vendor i purchased my laptop from.
Thank for your comment , firstly check license office comes with laptop or not from where you purchased laptop. Than if it is license and registered than you can see it by opening office.
To know about just open word or Excel click on file under the file you will find account just clock on that here you can see the email id if it is registered secondly you can ask your vendor which id they registered to activate lic .

Mere excel me kuch functions nahi aa rahe the toh uska solution microsoft ke site pe dikhaya online repair karne ka, maine kiya, but then due to network interruption, process got paused and microsoft office hi uninstall ho gaya. Are you using lic version of office or not ?
If yes than just open your email on which you register your office license and go to subscription tab ,here you can find your luce product key and install options.
If not using lic copy of office than just download from internet of some other sources like Crack version

I did this but when I open word it says "most features of word will be disabled"

Means still not activted . So if it is preloaded office and you registered with your email id.than Frist login with your email id go to the profile option and find service and subscriptions .under the service and subscriptions option if you find your office home and student. I tmens you have valid office and registered
After that you just install it from there and sign in with same id password.
I already install it from service and subscription and I have no idea why office says "On Friday, 24 February 2023, most features of Word will be disabled"

If you have lic windows than next time wherever you install it will automatically activated a genuine copy. Nothing to do

No if you have retailpack and got product key and you don't register with any email id than it doesn't show in subscription tab
For this you need key or you can find find product key by using some key finder app third party app

Try to reset if possible. Because it's mendatory if you activate it again.try to forget password and also once try to call Microsoft and explain your problem some time it will help you to reset the password

I bought my laptop in 2020, it was just one day before lockdown started, in a super hurry,so I totally forgot what email id the laptop shop person created, last year my laptop had some issues and one service person came and installed some duplicate old version of Microsoft, how can I revive back the version k was using from day one to last year, before this duplicate, it was original and costs around 5K, but I lost it😢
It too difficult if you register earlier than you need same email id on which you have created the time of purchase. Ask you laptop vendor may be they remember your id

No issue just open any office icons shows over there like work or excel it ask for login ID and password. Which was earlier you enter
Or just login your Microsoft account go to profile and click on subscription tab there you will find your office software click on install
