ROSIE tells the story of a mother trying to protect her family after her landlord sells their rented home and they become homeless. Finding a room, even for a night, is a tough job and finding somewhere permanent to live is even harder. Over 36 hours, Rosie (Sarah Greene) and her partner John Paul (Moe Dunford) strive to maintain a loving family unit while shielding their young family from the reality of the situation. ROSIE examines how, even in times of crisis, the love and strength of a family can endure.

I'm starting to watch this movie Rosie. Why does she have so many kids?

I don't understand why Rosie would let her kids live this way when Rosie's mum offered to take them in. i mean just apologise is it really worth putting your children at risk
THANK YOU! And she wouldnt let the teenage daughter spend the night at her friends house. Like she is being selfish and close minded. Who care if you cant stay with your husband for a while if that means you all can get on your feet? He stays at his friends house, kids stay with rosie's mom, daughter stays at her friends house, and so on. Live that way for like 3 months and get your shit together. tf.
I’m studying this for my English class so we went into excruciating detail about this scene. If you listen to what Rosie says about her father it seems he might have assaulted her in some way or abused her. Her mother tells her to stop telling lies as she doesn’t believe her which would definitely hurt any child. While it is irrational to not let them stay in the house when she’s struggling I suppose it’s her own way of protecting them. She doesn’t want to leave them with someone who doesn’t trust her or believe her.
This is coming from someone who obviously has never been in the struggle for real . Sometimes living like this is better than being at your relatives house who are toxic af and or mentally/physically abusive. As for friends , she doesn’t know what goes on under someone else’s roof so it’s called tough love and being a cautious parent & watching out for your kids. When you’re struggling so long as you have your family you’re okay !! So it makes sense why she didn’t let her kids go . and apologize? Lmfaoo , never apologize when you know you’re not wrong because respect is everything .They gone keep disrespecting you if you let it slide.
