i highly recommend the suspension flip like everybody does on the 6th scale jimny. Looked super possible on the series II. I would note that the steering link geometry might be an issue. If you can lower the servo and place spacers in the link geometry, it'll go better. awesome little truck! if i hadnt just bought the 6th scale jimny, id be buying this.
The proportions may look wrong because the correct wheelbase at 1/12 is 186.5mm whereas the model says 169mm (data not checked physically) Actual vehicle was 88 inches
I was about to click "yes" for a FMS Jimny 1/12 when i saw this new Land Rover. Looking good, but something i can't explain makes it closer to a toy than a scale model. Suspension leaf system makes the car as stiff as an ironing board. And it's a little more expensive. OK ! I chose the Jimny. This can't be a bad choice. 🙄
Should of made it 1/10th scale and they'd most likely sell three times the amount just for the bodies or mods. There weird scales have held me back on buying a lot of their stuff.
Thing is, if they make it 1/10 scale they put it squarely in the ground up / custom build models which will always be better. Put it like this, I bought an SCX10ii for half the price of this. Was looking at some hard bodies and found a Series 1 Range Rover (so I can build the ‘Camel’ expedition truck) and it still comes in under the price of this….and the RR is on the top level price bracket, pick-up shells are cheaper. So yeah a 1/10 scale would be nice, but they’d have to increase the price as it’s 1/10 scale and when one compares it to 1/10 kit stuff, this as 1/10 sadly just won’t cut the muster
Would this be good for 1/13 scale figures I’ve been really interested in getting this for my Doctor who unit soldier figures but don’t know if the scale would be a good fit without looking too big or too small
Can the leaf springs perches be flipped over to the top of the axle to lift it like you would on a fullsize? Also I've seen a lot of people swap the wheels and tires on the other 1/12 scales to improve it overall.
Hello, I changed my shocks on scx24 deadbolt to 43 mm but now I have ti have them in the stock position because the drive shaft will pop out. How do I fix it
A very nice looking body but the rest of it not so nice really , it’s just like a kids toy , it’s over priced for what it is , I would like the body and that’s it for me .

I like the look without any roof on it and the windshield down 👍🏻

That’s cool rig and looks like little man was having fun with it. ✌🏽
Looking super cool, yeah I’m here watching
Nice video, nice car👌
Beautiful Land Rover
Awesome video Adam 👍😁
Great review! I love fms they always have the most scale this is amazing, we need this in 1/6th scale I’d appreciate it.
Nice review. It looks good on the trail. We need to find some accessories to make our TRX-4M Landrovers look better. That interior is cool.
Adam, how about we pimp that ride Cape Crawlers style? 👊 I am very keen what you would come up with 😎

Nice video Adam, if Axel didn't knock the wingmirrors off that has to be a tough little vehicle! 😆🙃
It would be sick to put beefy tires and a bigger motor in it👍
Sweet!

We love the Jimny. Great little truck!
So much detail! What size figure did you use for it? Looks perfect
Great looking Land Rover series ll, also a excellent video, I have liked & subscibed 👍🏼

Great video you should check out the killr chassis
Saw the new Chevy K10 Scottsdale TF2 from RC4WD. Think you'll ever get one?
I want to watch some content on it before deciding. It looks nice!
@@CapeCrawlers definitely does! 💪🏻

The electrics seem to work better than my 1:1 version...
Great build I have a suggestion for you

Yes! I did this on ours. Having troubles getting the hexes to seat properly as the land rover doesn't utilize a traditional hex.
