Religion/God/maybe but he puts the tv preachers and Fox whores in Hell where they belong. How many song writers can write humorous/insightful songs that are great writing and music. 60s Dylan. I believe the autobiographical aspect of some of his songs and subject matter. One thing that I really respect is his honesty in his music and the fact that he mentions and gives "props" to singers and song writers from the past. check out the full concert. I went to the record store, to buy some new music I prefer blues to anything else, I had no knowledge of who ray wylie hubbard was but I picked up the cd delirium tremolos and just couldn't put it down Sure glad I bought it, now I have most all of his music that I know of
