At 8:12 , as Shumi mentioned , I would like to recall the service experience of my friend's Apache RR310 - 1. The Bed-Bolt (Engine mounting screws ) broke apart and the engine was loosely moving around 2. Went for servicing and they kept the bike for around 15 days with themselves with no updates 3. Finally , frustrated as he went to the service centre for update , they were like they didn't have the bed bolts in stock 4. He seldom went to another TVS centre, didn't get them , went to local hardware shop and got them himself and then they fixed the bike All this was happening in Bangalore's biggest TVS showroom and dealership , there is serious parts unavailability and zero feedback from servicing employees . Please consider this issue of servicing with TVS bikes carefully
Just curious. How many kilometres has your friend's bike run? Because bolts like these are NOT supposed to just break...not for a long long time at least.
Even small things such as clutch switches, brake pads, and chain sprockets are unavailable most of the time. At this point, I don't recommend TVS just because of the service experience.
@@tev596 this is crazy. And yet, some of their products are actually very very good 😞😞😞 only to be let down by abysmal service and parts unavailability...

Please check the updated model of rtr 310. I have purchased this bike last month, there is unnoticeable buzz at higher rpm which is normal for big size engines. I really enjoy riding this machine.
RTR 200 owner here whose friend has a Top Spec Sepang Blue RTR 310. The one in the DP is the first top spec in Maharashtra (I'm not bragging). I still remember throwing shade at the engine and the teasers when TVS was about to launch this motorcycle and my friend was baffled by the teasers. They announced cruise control and QS which was welcomed accompanied by absolutely unnecessary hot garbage tech. Heated and cooled seats, Wheelie and stoppie control etc. After a lot of me saying no and him saying take my money already he got the bike. I took it for a ride to Malshej from Pune and also city spins. This is my honest impression. My benchmark here is the RTR 200 and the recent 300-400's. So the duke, Speed, Guerilla etc 1. Engine: Yes they have bumped the power up but the amount of vibes is crazy. I cant deal with these vibes for 1000km days and stuff. The heat is manageable as well, Doesn't heat up unless you are in chock-a-block traffic. 2. Seats: The seats are bad. Not decent, not okay. Just BAD. The Peltier effect seats make no sense for Indian conditions. You feel the change in temp for 5 mins at max and the plates are not padded well, and they cannot be padded. You feel the plates right on your sit bones. BTW TVS makes great seats, all products. But this is a no no. 3. Modes: With what Shumi has said, Sport mode is the mode to use 90% of the time, On the highway I felt Urban was much better as it had a lot of torque on tap but no top end. It has a limiter at 7-8k RPM if I remember correctly. For some reason I felt Sport was rather mellow with even power delivery across the powerband. 4. Fueling: Could've been much better. Engine braking kicks in a second later, Off-on throttle in bottom RPM's feels jerky, and a lot of torque hits all of a sudde. ( Can be a skill issue also) but the RR310 doesn't have similar issues. 5. Tech: Quickshifter is indeed best in class, flawless. TC kicked in once when I was on concrete at quite low speeds and the torque kicked in all of a sudden. ABS tune is also good. No complaints. Cruise control is a good addition and trying it out for the first time on a motorcycle was a different experience. No complaints here as well. 6. Brakes Tyres Suspension: Tyres- Couldn't be better, Brakes - Great, Suspension - Little stiff for my liking. I weigh 73kgs at 5'8 and even with the softest setting it was stiff for my liking and experience. 7. Service: It had a lot of bugs with the new tech and the bike went to the SVC every month, Weren't always fixed. Parts were replaced and the mechanics aren't trained to handle or fix the bugs/tech in general on this new machine. The tech did bug where on a few days the CC wouldn't work, TC would give error and stuff like that. 8. Colours: Sepang Blue looks beautiful. Eye catcher on the street 9. Fuel: The tank is 11L with 9L usable, for a Long distance rider with one motorcycle garage which will do everything from track to tours. It will never be enough. 10. Price: Last Jan it was 3.8L On-Road (Top Spec). Worth it? Simple Answer - NO. Reason - Being a TVS owner and being associated with the community and having friends who ride similar motorcycles, the 200s, 160s, Ronin's even the mopeds are such great products. The comfort, power and fit and finish is just that great. But, the RTR 310 did disappoint considering this is not the first motorcycle out of TVS's stable. They know how to do it right, but as Shumi had said on some podcast which I don't remember, TVS changing their management, bringing in these guys from the International Markets and the Contracts that TVS is under with BMW. Their is limited scope on what can be done. This is just an user experience and the review says it all. Excellent video!
I have the RTR 200 4V Fi 2021 Race Blue variant (mouth full ik!), I love the design of RTR 310. Especially the Sepang Blue color variant (I kid you not, I love it). I know that there are better options than this in the same price range in terms of performance. But as Kartik and Shumi said, a bike isn't about specification, after a year or two the bhp will just be a number, it's what you feel about the bike.
I saw that BMW will launch a 450 twin cyclinder adv. Would be exciting if TVS offers a twin in one of their bikes as well. Would be a welcome increase in options for us in India apart from the heavy RE twins.
I own an rtr310 with dynamic pro kit and completed 14k kms. I felt like vibration is the only drawback of this bike. Not pricing except BTO variants. And the features it offers are good except heating&cooling seat. But benefits of 6 axis IMU is not a gimmick. And the beauty of this bike is dependent.its subjective.
As the owner of the top BTO model with all packages and using for an year, I can assure you, That heated/cooled seat is not just useless but a problem actually. 1st the cooling effect will turn to irritation after few minutes. 2nd you cannot turn it on or off on the fly, you need to stop the bike. 3rd you can feel the plastic cooling setup on the seat, there is no cushion at all, it will be a pain in the *** literally. I considered buying the normal variant seat and settled aftermarket cushion on top. Adjustable suspension is good, you can adjust as per the road you travel. Sound is not disturbing for me after wearing helmet. High speed stability is very good, ran in potholes in highways at 100+ speeds many times and never felt losing control. Ride modes - Only sport. others are useless for normal rider. Gear change indicator red light in Urban and Rain mode is distracting. I dont want to use Race and Supermoto. Not safe for public roads. TVS Connect - useless Mileage - I ride 70% highways and rest on Bangalore city traffic. I get 28 to 30 depending on how aggressive I ride. Offroading is good for a bike not made for offroading, rode thru pretty bad conditions. Dynamic kit with Adjustable suspension and Tyre pressure monitoring system is worth the money if you are interested. Dont opt for the Dynamic pro kit. This is my very 1st bike. All the safety features really safe guarded me throughout my learning journey and for that I'm grateful.
I've had the RTR 310 (base + quick shifter variant) for a year now. While it’s not perfect, it’s not as bad as this video makes it seem. Vibrations were an issue, but after the Carecraft camp, they’ve reduced significantly. There’s still some buzzing on the tank, but I’ve gotten used to it-it’s not a dealbreaker for me, though it might be for others. The bike is loud at higher RPMs, but I actually like that. The criticism about the instrument cluster feels a bit harsh. It looks fine to me, and I love how the track mode theme looks, especially in dark mode. The design is polarizing, sure, but it definitely turns heads. I've had people at traffic signals ask about the bike, so it grabs attention for sure. Coming from a 150 or 200cc bike, the RTR 310 feels like a solid upgrade. Are there better options? Absolutely. But as someone who prefers naked motorcycles, my options were limited. I’m not a KTM fan, and the modern-classic design of the Triumph isn’t my style. The CB300R lacks the electronics I wanted-it would’ve been my first choice otherwise. And the NS400Z… well, let’s not even go there.
@motorinc why not? Can you please let us know. I was hoping that after the adv, rr and rtr would get the new engine, and maybe the prices would come down as it's an in-house engine. Is it not what it was made for?
Man i bought Vitpilen 250 for myself and i am so happy by choosing that bike over KTM 250 because the recognition it gets on the road is something else and the power is just amazing. Also as shumi said engine heating yes every bike with higher CC engine does heat but after sometime you will get habitual with it. Also I wanted to have continental for myself but didn't have the budget to buy the bike but now i have Vitpilen for myself i am so proud of myself for choosing it over any other bike
Hi Shumi! I have 2 questions for you, first I want you to make a video sharing how you felt the very first time when you rode a motorcycle in winters, also your tips on riding motorcycles in winters of northern India. Also I want you to share your experience of how you felt riding a motorcycle with a boxer engine as we don't know if we'll ever get an affordable boxer bike ever for motorinc to review, and if someone will explain as good as you do how the boxer engine feels.......
Hello! Great work as always. Please start a series for Adventure bikes. Looking forward to your reviews for V4, 1300, AT etc. Also cover mid ADV like 900s, 650s etc. There is a bike moto morini x-cape, cover that if possible. Hope you guys will take this up. Thanks!
Hi @udeeksh, we have discussed ADVs in general here, check it out: ruclips.net/video/u0yLeiRuQTg/видео.html As for the suggestions, currently we're not covering big bikes because we don't think our formats work for them. We're working on this.
We do not have an issue with the cruise control @kaustubhkashyap1081, our biggest problem is the needlessly complicated way to activate it. If it's working well for you, we're glad to hear that.
While bike styling is subjective, losing just the belly pan will significantly contribute to the look of this bike. My local TVS showroom has not been able to provide me with an air filter box (for Ntorq 125) in more than one and a half years, so I had to source it from a third-party vendor. I will stay away from anything TVS. Like always, GREAT review @motorinc
It's not related to this video but I think we need a video in which you guys cover all the bikes launched this year where you talk about good and bad about the bikes and tell which bike is good for whom. Basically motorcycle awards.
Hi do you guys have any opinion or backstage information on BMW’s concept 450cc parallel twin engine? I know it’s not a production bike, but are they developing it with TVS? Asking because it was an exciting announcement!
How would compare the engine of this bike to cb300r, which one is better, if cb300 has a better engine is it worth to not take the extra tech given in the rtr310
Knew about the bike experience from a long time, still clicked the video cause I know I will be amazed no matter what. Btw what shoes are those that shumi's wearing while riding ???
Can you make a video on Honda Hornet 2.0 Reliability Performance Refinement Honda service Quality of the bike It's competitors Price and value Pros Cons .......etc
The problem is if it was from Aprilia or Ducati, everyone would clap 👏 about the design but we all love criticising the designs of Indian products. It should be criticised when it's bad but how could you not like this TVS? I don't think anyone in India has got even closer to what TVS has been doing except RE in terms of designing bikes.
Looks are a subjective thing man and individual choices differ a lot - I'm not a TVS hater but I personally don't like the way this bike looks. I appreciate the tech and performance it offers.
Test drove the RTR 310 a coupoe of days back! The buzzy nature of the engine seems to throw off of what seems like a bike with a great potential. The longer I drove, the more I felt that it's work in progress, rather than complete. Also a question, can this buzzy feeling be passed of as a 'Charecter' for this bike? Amazing stuff team! Glad to see the top notch production quality! 😁
We agree with that conclusion @EyelessJack, they definitely have to refine this further. And as for the question, that depends on how you want to see it, but we definitely don't want this much... character.
Believe me or not i got the latest (sept 24) manufactured bto variant the vibes are same as cbr 150r which i owned dont know why everyone are focusing on that this much the suspensions are best never had any malfunctions in electronics department first time went for tvs bike and m having fun.
I do like the way 310 looked (especially from the side in those last minutes of the video) as much as I like Motorinc content! Everything that you explained makes sense and if/when TVS folks sees this video, they might take some notes to get their next motorcycle on point!
Btw, This transformation of Motorinc in the last three months is welcome. The inclusion of a bit splashy and funky narrative is apt. However, Let's not get too excited and make it too funky - That might increase the view count but not the opulence with which Motorinc is crafted until now.
Also @motorinc have you guys tried the rtr after the software nd hardware update? It felt like a whole new bike after that one, I could rev it to 10k/11k at 3rd gear itself, the vibes reduced and the new fuel mapping is great!
Helmets are legally mandated for a reason @rakshithrreddy. As far as ratings are concerned, we'd recommend aiming for one with ISI and ECE 22.05 (minimum, 22.06 is the best). Beyond that it comes down to styling and brand preferences.
If I buy tvs here i need money to maintain bike + to pay workers that don't lose any opportunity to extract anything from you. Haven't seen such workers in Bajaj or hero.
yes.. it is priced 'optimistic'. but tvs are the only manufacturer who is genuinely trying here. First ronin and now rtr 310.. They tried to bring a new one and it is rough.. At least try to encourage a bit for their doings.. We need enthusiasm not a business oriented brand.
We're all for it @ajayaravind3814! But we'll be honest in pointing out the shortcomings too. Real people are going to be spending their hard-earned money on this and we'd like them to know the product for what it is today.
When I test driven this bike I felt a bit lag in acceleration. Which was not mentioned In the videos. Maybe due its ride by electronics wire instead of physical wire? I heard somewhere that it was electronically programmed to inject fuel based only on air intake. So the sudden acceleration feels this lag. Is this a truth?
TVS have already reduced the vibration. Almost zero now on handlebars. Rest of the body some vibrations are there but reasonable for solo riding. The vibration reviews are based on the initial batch or the pathetic service centers which still have the old batch for test drives.
Make a similar video on Duke 250 gen3 (with tft) . It'll provide a better picture for the viewers who want to purchase a bike and are confused among Speed400, Rtr310, CB300r and Duke 250.
Look for these two certifications @cheems876: ECE 22.05 and above (preferably 22.06) and ISI so that you don't get stopped by cops. After that, it's up to your budget and stylistic preferences.
its a good bike , value for money is not the point since a value for money bike cost cuts on premium aspects. i own one of these with blue and all kits, adjustable suspension nice to play around. brass chain looks good. blue color is overpriced. accessories decent rate. parts on the expensive side but they do last a bit longer. mine clocked around 25K and about to be a year old in next january. roamed around quiet a lot took it for a 1600km straight ride. roads are not that great for anything above 80. but this bike does not like to sit in 5-6k rpm range. too much buzz.stay below 5 or above 6 then again 6th gear gives you 15kmph at each RPM resulting in 150kmph of top speed at 10k rpm. and 6k rpm at 90kmph. where it is very loud in helmet. in my next mod i would simply use RR310 sprocket set to see the RPM improvement thus reducing that loudness. Still with all its niggles it is a genuinely Fun machine. i dont regret a bit. Edit: i managed 41 kmpl in my recent saputara trip. for what it is its a good machine.
i wish TVS would stop adding features we dint want (i respect them for innovating) and just work on improving the basics, if they do so and get the prices lower, it would make a lot more sense
@motorinc well you make a lot of sense, there is no way this can complete with the 40bhp 400cc bike but neither would one would pick a 150cc mt-15 when they could get 250cc bikes for the same price My point being if they get the core product right without the gimmicks and reduce the price, at the least, I hope they could sell it better..
It would have been insightful if you would have compared this to BMW 310R vecayse according to latest updates the vibration and noise issues in it did significantly go down. So, why a person would not splurge on that or say a Honda Cb300R?

Eye catcher on the street
Hello @SudOak, that's quite comprehensive for a review of a friend's bike! Thanks for sharing.
@@motorinc Watched the best since the beginning :)
That BGM is just ❤🔥
I have the RTR 200 4V Fi 2021 Race Blue variant (mouth full ik!), I love the design of RTR 310. Especially the Sepang Blue color variant (I kid you not, I love it). I know that there are better options than this in the same price range in terms of performance. But as Kartik and Shumi said, a bike isn't about specification, after a year or two the bhp will just be a number, it's what you feel about the bike.
Please take a test ride when you can and let us know what you think of it @shivamgupta-vg4co
I saw that BMW will launch a 450 twin cyclinder adv. Would be exciting if TVS offers a twin in one of their bikes as well. Would be a welcome increase in options for us in India apart from the heavy RE twins.
Sickkk background score
Glad to hear it @Dheeeeraj, will pass it on to the team.
That flyby shot at the end was kickass
🤜🤛
That machine gun end note was something else 🤌
I would listen to him all day and still won't fall asleep
❤️
I own an rtr310 with dynamic pro kit and completed 14k kms. I felt like vibration is the only drawback of this bike. Not pricing except BTO variants. And the features it offers are good except heating&cooling seat. But benefits of 6 axis IMU is not a gimmick. And the beauty of this bike is dependent.its subjective.
Thanks for sharing your experience @sidharthb959! Glad to hear that you like it.
Among the indian manufacturers, i feel TVS has best in class handling.
Sir u r looking like Rajamouli 💥💥💥
😅
Rajamouli looking like shumi 🎉
Its a 300cc bike with price similar to 250cc. Just ignire the bto. 390 is more expensive. This is not at a bad bike
Hi Shumi, please please if possible, please share the background score. It is amazing.
Thanks @abhiojha4971! We'll pass the request on. 😊
Sunstrom by ELFL.
(Google Sound Search and/or Shazam exists and it'll help you)
As the owner of the top BTO model with all packages and using for an year, I can assure you, That heated/cooled seat is not just useless but a problem actually.
TVS Connect - useless
Mileage - I ride 70% highways and rest on Bangalore city traffic.
Thanks for sharing your experience @RajKumar-em4yy! What do you think of the service?
Thanks @SurajkumarGunjal! Good to know the bike is working well for you.
I wonder if TVS will update the RTR 310 or bring out a new street naked with the new 300cc engine they've developed in house.
We're good with either @manishbhat8570 but there's a very slim that either of them happens! 😅
@motorinc why not? Can you please let us know. I was hoping that after the adv, rr and rtr would get the new engine, and maybe the prices would come down as it's an in-house engine. Is it not what it was made for?
I had two RTRs and everytime I needed a part, it's similar to the AC seat! If you what I meant! Wish it was a 400!
Sounds like you're enjoying it a lot @PratikPrajapati-m7n! Thanks for sharing.
@@motorinc Yessirrr ❤️
its a better bike than boring triumph 400 …awesome bike…❤❤❤
👍 Thanks for letting us know @BIKERRTTRON
U guys MUST make a music playlist containing the BGMs for all the vids
Thanks for the suggestion @BlueLobsterMF! Sounds like a good idea
Thanks!
Hi @udeeksh, we have discussed ADVs in general here, check it out: ruclips.net/video/u0yLeiRuQTg/видео.html
As for the suggestions, currently we're not covering big bikes because we don't think our formats work for them. We're working on this.
perfect review!
Give a bonus to whoever decided to use synth music in the background!
For now, we'll pass them this compliment @joshua54333
Waiting for this one ❤
Did you try the bike after they supposedly fixed the vibrations? Also, i own this bike and cruise control has worked well everytime.
Thanks for sharing @siddharthapadhy, we hope TVS fixes their after sales experience soon.
We don't speculate @VermiKello, we can happily discuss the bikes if they launch and once we've ridden them!
How many iPhone users heard the background music in Dolby Atmos? 😍
🤜🤛
How would compare the engine of this bike to cb300r, which one is better, if cb300 has a better engine is it worth to not take the extra tech given in the rtr310
Except the wheels everything looks so sharp, its designer living in some alien world ❤. Designed tooooo much
Knew about the bike experience from a long time, still clicked the video cause I know I will be amazed no matter what. Btw what shoes are those that shumi's wearing while riding ???
Can you make a video on Honda Hornet 2.0
Reliability
Performance
Refinement
Honda service
Quality of the bike
It's competitors
Price and value
Pros
Cons
.......etc
I agree, wholeheartedly.
Design is a subjective choice @theordinaryguyparvez3157, we think it's too busy. Let's agree to disagree! 🤝
I don't like buzz but the loudness is lovely
Test drove the RTR 310 a coupoe of days back! The buzzy nature of the engine seems to throw off of what seems like a bike with a great potential. The longer I drove, the more I felt that it's work in progress, rather than complete.
Also a question, can this buzzy feeling be passed of as a 'Charecter' for this bike?
Amazing stuff team! Glad to see the top notch production quality! 😁
We agree with that conclusion @EyelessJack, they definitely have to refine this further. And as for the question, that depends on how you want to see it, but we definitely don't want this much... character.
😂😂
To the point ❤
A Ronin 310 with the same engine would be interesting!
Believe me or not i got the latest (sept 24) manufactured bto variant the vibes are same as cbr 150r which i owned dont know why everyone are focusing on that this much the suspensions are best never had any malfunctions in electronics department first time went for tvs bike and m having fun.
Glad to hear that you're enjoying it @ridencampp!
May be a different. Background music next time ..big fan follow all your your work cheers guys ... Countinue your great work
Thanks for the feedback @dwijiyer8228
But you gotta admit this is the only bike which is offering cruise control in this range. And its very helpful in long rides.
Of course @shravan97, which is why we ONLY recommend the bottom two models.
Sh!7 ... that ending was awesome, summarized in one sentence.
Yes you should buy one😆
Eager to listen about new yezdi adv. 2.0 with alpha2 engine from schumi..... It may not be as gr8 as new Himalayan but can definitely be good tourer
Waiting for a test bike @shalinmodi6748
I do like the way 310 looked (especially from the side in those last minutes of the video) as much as I like Motorinc content!
Everything that you explained makes sense and if/when TVS folks sees this video, they might take some notes to get their next motorcycle on point!
We sincerely hope that they take their time with the next iteration of this, and get it right @anshusharma1523!
Btw, This transformation of Motorinc in the last three months is welcome. The inclusion of a bit splashy and funky narrative is apt. However, Let's not get too excited and make it too funky - That might increase the view count but not the opulence with which Motorinc is crafted until now.
Thanks for the cautious compliments @KaushikS-gm9pi! Your feedback is duly noted too. 😅
Make this kind of a video for Triumph speed 400 also
We have @techygusty1296, here: ruclips.net/video/QQ2PmoT9kVQ/видео.html
@motorinc it's a paid one 🥲
Hey @motorinc, what was the song at the tail end of the video 😅?
Did the service camp helped with the vibration on the rtr 310?
Yes it did but still I have to visit service centre every 4 month to get bolts tightened which greatly reduces vibrations
Look maxxx bike ❤️🔥
Shumi sir,
Please 🙏 Review ZONTES GK350 .
Looking for RTR310 but after review. I want to see other options. Suggest some Please❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Also @motorinc have you guys tried the rtr after the software nd hardware update? It felt like a whole new bike after that one, I could rev it to 10k/11k at 3rd gear itself, the vibes reduced and the new fuel mapping is great!
Did I just hear ROAD 5 TYRES!?😍
Yes, for now, @tharun72!
I test rode it today , too much vibration on handle bars specially near pillion seat
Rest all things are good.
Thanks for sharing @Beastincarnate-u1o!
It is a bike with technology from 2026 & Engine from 2016. Tvs still amazes me with their new 300cc engine where they should be developing a 400 :/
I was waiting for Shumi's take on the Ducati stree.... TVS apache RTR 310 😅
i had a question abt the vitpilen 250 2024....can u replace the current handlebar with a set of clip on handlebars
Hi motorinc please make an episode on how important helmets are and please explain their ratings
Helmets are legally mandated for a reason @rakshithrreddy. As far as ratings are concerned, we'd recommend aiming for one with ISI and ECE 22.05 (minimum, 22.06 is the best). Beyond that it comes down to styling and brand preferences.
@ thanks a lot for the information, was not knowing anything about the helmets, brought ECE 22.06 rated helmet. 🙏🙏
If I buy tvs here i need money to maintain bike + to pay workers that don't lose any opportunity to extract anything from you. Haven't seen such workers in Bajaj or hero.
Is Jawa 350 worth buying??? Need ur suggestion please...
yes.. it is priced 'optimistic'. but tvs are the only manufacturer who is genuinely trying here.
Sir, please make a video on apache 160 4v rtr usd bike 🙏😊
Flying Leap
"Backwards" LMAOOO
When I test driven this bike I felt a bit lag in acceleration. Which was not mentioned In the videos.
Maybe due its ride by electronics wire instead of physical wire?
I heard somewhere that it was electronically programmed to inject fuel based only on air intake. So the sudden acceleration feels this lag. Is this a truth?
Leave it to Shumi to insert a Pink Floyd reference out of nowhere! 😬🔥
If this got
Sleeker pillion seat,
Shorter exhaust
Im buying it😊.
i guess changing the sprocket from rr310 make bike less buzzy, that side look 9:06 is best in segment
Our question is, why did they have to change it in the first place? 🤷🏼
@ that sprocket might be enable to access more speed in less rpm
@@vinaychinthla314 if we change the sprocket from rr310 ,is there any difference in acceleration and mileage?
@ yea acceleration comes down a bit
TVS have already reduced the vibration. Almost zero now on handlebars. Rest of the body some vibrations are there but reasonable for solo riding. The vibration reviews are based on the initial batch or the pathetic service centers which still have the old batch for test drives.
You should do a video on best bikes and cars in every catagory 2024 . Suggestion
Thanks for the suggestion @madhavtripathi6250
Make a similar video on Duke 250 gen3 (with tft) . It'll provide a better picture for the viewers who want to purchase a bike and are confused among Speed400, Rtr310, CB300r and Duke 250.
Mechanically the 250 Duke remains the same @suvamsingh2588, check out review here: ruclips.net/video/cgRgF-IkhHY/видео.html
@motorinc Bhai isko public to karo 🙃 members only me h
Sir, an off-topic question.
Which helmet should I buy? Axor Apex or SMK Typhoon
Look for these two certifications @cheems876: ECE 22.05 and above (preferably 22.06) and ISI so that you don't get stopped by cops. After that, it's up to your budget and stylistic preferences.
You know you shouldn't by a bike , if its review is made available for everyone by motorinc 😂
Ooo interesting observation @paroxymal7688! 😉
its a good bike , value for money is not the point since a value for money bike cost cuts on premium aspects. i own one of these with blue and all kits, adjustable suspension nice to play around. brass chain looks good. blue color is overpriced. accessories decent rate. parts on the expensive side but they do last a bit longer. mine clocked around 25K and about to be a year old in next january. roamed around quiet a lot took it for a 1600km straight ride. roads are not that great for anything above 80. but this bike does not like to sit in 5-6k rpm range. too much buzz.stay below 5 or above 6 then again 6th gear gives you 15kmph at each RPM resulting in 150kmph of top speed at 10k rpm. and 6k rpm at 90kmph. where it is very loud in helmet.
in my next mod i would simply use RR310 sprocket set to see the RPM improvement thus reducing that loudness.
Still with all its niggles it is a genuinely Fun machine. i dont regret a bit.
Edit: i managed 41 kmpl in my recent saputara trip. for what it is its a good machine.
Thanks for sharing your detailed experience @Dkm337, how has the service experience been so far?
i wish TVS would stop adding features we dint want (i respect them for innovating) and just work on improving the basics, if they do so and get the prices lower, it would make a lot more sense
But let's assume for a moment that the current base RTR 310 model is where TVS stopped @ashleydsilva9284, would you pay that much for a 310?
@motorinc well you make a lot of sense, there is no way this can complete with the 40bhp 400cc bike but neither would one would pick a 150cc mt-15 when they could get 250cc bikes for the same price
My point being if they get the core product right without the gimmicks and reduce the price, at the least, I hope they could sell it better..
Shumi, you know very well that in India, having a license is NOT equal to being an adult. 😅
(sigh) Yes @vivekaaraga, a tiered licencing system can't come soon enough!
It would have been insightful if you would have compared this to BMW 310R vecayse according to latest updates the vibration and noise issues in it did significantly go down. So, why a person would not splurge on that or say a Honda Cb300R?
