It reminds me of when Luck Skywalker Screams at Darth Vader “No it’s not true! It’s impossible!” This is my reaction to a carbon disc brake bike with electric shifting on your channel George. 🫣 I’m glad to see Scot are continuing their long tradition of making awful headsets. It used to be that headset bearing replacements was the main job I did on them. 🤭 5-6 years ago they also had the worst looking paint jobs of any bike, literally looked like they’d asked a 5 year old boy “hay kid, what would make this bike look cool.” But recently they have really stepped up their game in the paint department. Still, an over priced China made plastic bike, but hay, I’m thankful for the small improvements. 😜
I service all bikes because all bikes need love :-) In fact, yesterday a Pinarello after a crash. SRAM AXS RD jammed in the spokes (chain, new RD, new hanger and wheel true) all easy stuff I can do. But the issue I couldn't help him with ... his fork. I suspect one of the legs is cracked. So I had to send him down the road to Pinarello dealer so he could buy another fork. But yeah people bring me their prized possessions be they electronic disc or vintage steel. All bikes need love! Thanks for watching. Did you watch my video on the 150 miler? You just need to watch the first 30 seconds lol
@@SeeYouUpTheRoad Funny you should mention having to send the customer to the dealer for a new fork. Scott are known for not having stock on parts for bikes they produce. I bought a full sus Scott Spark in a bike shop, less than a year I cracked the rear seat stay in a rock garden and could not get a replacement rear triangle because Scott did not make that year model anymore. The bike was toast. I've heard numerous other stories from other people having similar issues with Scott bikes. Now that Scott will be direct to consumer how much worse are things going to be for consumers? I don't think shopping online for a bike and having it delivered to your door is a smart way to buy a bike either. Who is going to help you when Scott ghosts you.
Glad it was helpful! Man I struggled getting the Corsa Next off and the 5000 S TR on. Riders out on the road are going to struggle with these Syncros wheels.
Those are beautiful paint jobs on the Scotts - I've seen a few of them in the LBS and they always catch my eye 😍
They are! Thanks for watching John!
Nice.. love the wrap George 😊 Pete 🚴🏻👍
nothing better! Thanks for watching Pete!
I like the new foils, can't say I like these old ones too much.
I don’t follow their development. How old is this bike and what changed for the new one?
I love your bike, man. Building my future road bike as well. ❤
It's my customer's bike not mine 🙂 Thanks for watching please consider subscribing

Good useful info about that specific tire and rim combo. Tidbits like that can help inform someone future purchase decisions.

Nice looking bike thanks for sharing. I ride the GP 5K (clincher) solid tire.
it is an excellent tire! Not as much puncture protection as the old TL but it's been really good so for me. Thanks for watching
Looks good for sure

So, how am I supposed to comment on a production bike paint scheme?
Ha ha! Custom is always nicer but some folks are fine with off-the-peg colorways 🙂 Thanks for watching Jay!
