Im also pretty sure its are, im no expert or something (but i watched a lot of anime so im basing this off of my anime experience HAHAHAHAHAH), but i read that ramuda uses "boku" (casually referring to themselves), but uses "ore" (the manly way to refer to themselves) when hes serious. Ive often heard characters say "are? (I think there was 'maji' in between) Okashina" or something like that, i guess are is something like,,, being surprised, because it basically means "huh? Thats weird".
His 'wiki' page says: "(and also switching his pronouns from "boku" to more masculine "ore")"
So yeah if im not wrong then 'are?' should be 'huh?' And 'ore'. Im sure about the ore part but not really on the 'are' one, but it should be right if the things they say in animes are accurate 💀💀
