Fine little engine. I had three, first and rc version that I used in my RCM Basic trainer in 1971and ran it for many years, finally selling it as I recall when in need of cash for a move. Others were acquired as worn out, no doubt from running near the ground and inhaling dirt. They loved a kind break-in and just kept plugging along. Nice that you have them.
Most glow fuel we mixed in the 50's and 60's was 80% Methanol, 18% Castor oil and 2% Nitromethane. The same as commercial fuel, but we only made small amounts as we needed it so it was ''fresher''.
@@bradwalton7599 Haha, i found my issue. the thing was so old the grease had dried like glue, got everything apart until it came to the piston, the top edge on it snapped. really sad because it was my first engine. oh well.

It is not V-ee it is fifth generation of this model. They are all marked with Roman characters.
Where can I buy a engine like that?
I got mine from eBay
How did you disassemble it?
Very easy only 8 screws to remove 4 at the top to remove the head and 4 at the front.
