Hey guys! Please I need help! Onyx is really great tool, but I have a question that I can't find browsing. How to connect external compressor to the mixer? I mean, not for a insert input on channels 1 and 2, but to use as SEND/RETURN effect.
I added my numbered bactracks to the SD card on my new Mackie Onyx 12FX mixer but they don't show in an orderly form. As 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. to be able to select uniformly. It's a very hit and miss way to select them. I'm wondering if there's anyway to set them out in a proper order.

Ooh can that Mixer sync up with other Bluetooth Devices like UltraSyncBlue and IPad to run Time code? So then I can record video and audio syncing together?
Does the SND USB 12 allow me to record the multi track mix into the iPhone camera app? If so that solves a problem I’ve been looking for a solution to for recording tube amp demos using 2 mics on the amp and one for voice narration.
It’s so sad that you removed so many features from the 1620 FireWire, 48v per channel, 4 bands eq, 4 aux with stereo returns… so many things are missing wich makes those new mixer kinda underwhelming, it would have been a no brainer versus the soundcraft and tascam mixers.
You are right. I mean Sweetwater, Roland and other instrument sellers and makers answer questions in RUclips sometimes. They don't reply to everyone though. They reply more often on Facebook I think. Although I wish they had some employees interacting with customers on every social media platforms.

Local music stores don't know, big name store chains don't know, their head offices don't know, their suppliers don't know, and Mackie have been dead silent about this all year!!! Come on!
I received my Onyx8 a few days ago and apart from knobs having a good look and feel, some good FX and sound quality, the SDCard functionality is really terrible! You should seriously fix that and not write in a manual that you can rename the files on a computer!!! Oh and then this rotary knob for selecting effects: that knob is very buggy, it just jumps around the menu when you turn the knob. Who wrote the firmware?? For the price I was expecting more, the Onyx is not good advertising for Mackie, sorry.

Does this mixer has compressor like proFX v3 does ??? good to have it onboard for live show without daw. If it does't, then its not complete.

Annoys me that it has neither alt 1/2 nor master inserts so there's no way to add a master bus compressor. So close 😔

Is he using his Apple Air Pods Ear bugs for Headphones? Roland TD 50K users. Can you test it using USB INTO the Roland V Drums Module

I added my backtracks to the SD card, and it does not show them uniformly enough to be able to select them according to how I have numbered them.

USB 2.0 is FAR more than enough for any audio needs. The 2.0 connector is also far stronger and more durable than Type C or Thunderbolt
