    14:50 Also a big thing on Kolyeav's resume (imo) is that there's a video of him singing while playing the accordion, in a snowy forest, with a bear sitting next to him on the ground. Absolutely one of the best video's I've ever seen.

    A note from the Hampton clip, normally he uses the '(+3)' to indicate a rep or weight pr. So I think it's 10 reps, as a +3 rep or kilo pr. Also, in the comments he said he weighed in at 65kg that day

    Ibañez has come with his family from Canada to Spain (Andalucía). Both his son and daughter cleaned the floor this weekend in the youth Spanish competition (son 140/151, 151 in the first attempt and is the spanish record sub17 and 81kg)

    Seems like the front squat+jerk combo is a good vehicle for extra volume. I feel like some complexes have the potential to throw off motor patterns, but this one looks like it wouldn’t mangle the technique of a lifter. Would you say that’s about right? Would this be a complex that is more beneficial for newer lifter (as opposed to other complexes)?

    • @sikastrength
      @sikastrength  11 месяцев назад +3

      Yeah that's a great assessment.
      It can be used to break down the lifts for newer lifters

    Hello lads, I have leather Asics. They are noticeably wider than shoes like rom 2s and ironworks iiis. The leather is very playable and breaks in nicely to your foot. Sadly I think they only go up to like a US size 10. Would be Interested to see a sika shoe review. I say it iz Gud shu

    I notice that this channel praises lifters who are heavy and do any sort of OL technique which they rationalise as good technique

    • @hayesdelezene4590
      @hayesdelezene4590 11 месяцев назад +9

      It’s almost like they have a solid background in Olympic weightlifting and have a preference toward that kind of lifting. Also, there are some techniques that are just more biomechanically advantageous than others and to lift the heaviest weights it is preferable to use such techniques. Who doesn’t love a horse with crispy lifts?

    • @thechosenone93
      @thechosenone93 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@hayesdelezene4590 I like the lifters in this video. I actually personally like OL from all weight classes. However if some of the people featured in their video were beginners with such shoddy technique they wouldn’t be getting praised. Plus if those same lifters are praised for lifting like that then what’s the point of having good form then when the mantra in WL is “it’s all about form”?
