Just thought of another improvement. Built in MagSafe charger for iPhone 12 or newer. The wireless charger they currently offer is just ok. It loses points because you have to plug a USB cable into it to provide power. It just makes it not have a very clean and high appearance.
Heated seats and massage function are a great idea. I also agree about theater seats being a place to relax. I actually take a lot of phone calls in my theater and do zoom meetings there because of the acoustics. Theaters are a nice place to read also.
That popcorn bowl attachment is a very good accessory. Jessica has a great idea for heated seats. The memory preset is excellent addition. I prefer the Tuscany as well.
Need vented and heated seats. I see they now have a heated option, but it would be really nice if they would be vented it as well for when it’s hot out. I have that on my new Mercedes and it would be amazing to have one these seats!
Great review! I’m definitely moving forward with a set of 3 Osla’s. I personally like the overall look better then the Tuscany. I thought I saw a way to put a picture on here, but trust me the button looks very professional and it lights up red when you use it. I thought it was going to be something they threw in as an afterthought in the armrest with a cord, which would lookcheap but this looks just as good as the other buttons. I got one for mine but not my wife that was a big mistake.

I have the Tuscany and they are great comfortable and supportive and the trays are invaluable. Future developments for me would be a heated and cooled seats. Many cars have this feature. I'd also like to be able to control the brightness of the LED's
@Youthman I have 7 of the Oslo XL and we love them The only change I would prefer is easier access to the controls……..similar to what RowOne Seating offers with controls around the cup holder area……this would especially be helpful for guests who maybe are not use to the button layout
That’s awesome John. My first Tuscany seats had the controls on the top unless you are continually locking the controls, I constantly found myself bumping the controls whenever I would place my hand on the armrest. The Other downside to that is it makes the cup holder area look rather cluttered and not near as clean
@@Youthman Totally agree, not crazy about the buttons being integrated in the cup holder ring either I saw RowOne had the buttons where you have to press down vs touch which helps with the accidental touches My Oslo XL buttons are illuminated which really do not help anyway because of their position......if someone is not in a seat next to me the module is illuminated which gets distracting If I would design the chair, I would position the accessory hole 1st, move the cup holder forward just a bit and then add the control module so you have easy access to it
I agree I like the push buttons versus the touch buttons. I found them too sensitive in the original Tuscany’s. I have even had my cell phone charging cable touch the button end cause me to recline lol
Second comment. I think the "Slim" version of the Tuscany and Oslo are underrated and underdiscussed. They are sized perfect for those up to 280lbs according to Valencia. Your wife is swimming in that chair!! Plus You can save about 11" of space on a 4-seat row for those who cant fit 4 of the regularchairs. Honestly If they could make the Slim cheaper than the standard, they will work for 80% of those out there. This should be the most common sold
He was watching your video and I realize it’s a couple years old, but I’ve had my chairs for over a year. Just by chance as I was finishing my order, I asked them. Hey there’s no chance you could add heat to this chair is there? And he said yeah sure we could do that And I was regretting it thinking oh they’re going to do a botched job because it isn’t something they normally do. They’re just gonna add it in but man it is my favorite feature of the chair. I wonder if they can add this in if you’ve already purchased it. The button looks super custom, and the heat works outstanding on both my back and butt. If I can send you a picture of the button, I will.
These things are absolutely gorgeous!! So glad I saw this review BEFORE I purchased my seats (I was looking at the Tuscany seating). The only reason I haven’t purchased anything yet is space until the construction is done - plus we’re two weeks away from putting the tree up, which takes up even more space in the house. When I saw the beautiful white stitching, I was like “whoa, these seats are breathtaking!!!” Thank you for just increasing my seating budget another $4,000.00 lol. Honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with the Tuscany or the Oslo. They are both my favorite seats that I have reviewed. But the Oslo have more style due to the stitching and extra padding on the foot rest. Few things the company could implement to improve these great chairs . Defuser for the led lights so it looks more Highend rather then seeing the individual lights on the led strip . Defusers are cheap ( litteraly pennies ) and will give a high end light bar effect . Moving the USB charging into the arm rests . For the price your leg shouldnt be pressing against a USB wire . If a person gets up before remembering to detach the USB cable they could eventually damage the USB socket . Massage functionality, This will add the extra layer of luxury to make these cinema seats stand out . The gas piston in the arm rest . The piston is great but its connected to a square piece of wood . For a 2,000 dollar chair this should be flush using a different high end piston . like on other high end leather console chairs !!! As the way its connected it looks like it was a customization job done at home .

The video isn’t sponsored but they did provide the seats free for review. Valencia has a wide variety of seats for different budget. The Bespoke Ultimate Luxury Series is their premium lineup. I’m sure there are other brands that use faux leather. My previous living room had that and it only lasted maybe 3 years before we had to buy new furniture.
Hmm, I am perfectly fine with my Tuscany seats, that I got last year after seeing your review of those last year… I would slightly consider buying an upgraded set, if they added a heated/cooled seat, to the seat. For I live near Chicago, that has to deal with both the cold in the winter, and the heat in the summer…

The Tuscany Ultimate (even standard) is prettier. We wish the Oslo Ultimate come in more colors too (Steel Blue, Dark Roast). That said, if the Reviews come by that the Oslo Ultimate are a bit Firmer and with more Support, then that’s The One I WANT. A snug, nestled feel is great for a Mattress, but I don’t want to fall asleep during a great movie watching in a Panasonic OLED 🤠
I understand this is off subject if you have an AV receiver you going to the settings speaker speaker level so you pick speaker right and you take it all the way to the top and then all the way to the bottom and you cannot hear a difference over your receiver I think something's wrong has anybody had this problem and could you address it
If you were referring to the speaker level trims, yes if you increase the level as high as it will go and it does not increase the volume of that speaker, and something is wrong or not set up correctly

Since you have had or have the three Valencia seats I am considering I will ask your opinion on what one to get. the Oslo, the Tuscany or the Oxford. All of them come in the 3 row drop down table version which is what i am looking for (still want a "couch") and they are all about the same price $2200-$2300 so I guess I am looking for comfort, duability, feature differences. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Out of all of the Valencia seats I have reviewed, had at MWAVE or experienced while doing a Home Theater Tour, I prefer the comfort of the Tuscany the best. Oslo are great but are a bit firmer for my personal preference. I didn’t care as much for the Oxford but I also didn’t use the drop down table and didn’t like that the center seat did not have a footrest or cup holders. If you do decide to order any of the Valencia models, I would be certainly grateful if you used any of my affiliate links in the description when you buy. Hope that helps.

Yeah, for the field, by far my favorite is the Tuscany Ultimate Luxury as it is the softest. But I also had the original Tuscany which has the 10,000 Napa leather and it was very soft as well but not quite as smooth as the 20,000 Napa leather in the ultimate luxury series
Any thoughts on which model? gives you best space with the least headrest obstruction of the rear speakers? PS they need TWO memory positions on all their models. One doesnt make sense when you have a husband and wife that dont always sit in same space.

That's one of my biggest gripes with most home theater seating, it looks very dated. There are nicer home theater seats but they tend to be very expensive.
Luxury edition is too short. I’m only 5’10 but on most of these types of seats the headrest also hits my shoulders. Can’t get comfortable unless I slouch. At this price the headrest should be more adjustable like a cheap seat in a car
I hate how I slide down slowly in my Valencia seats. I find myself adjusting during movies. I am going to replace with individual Flexsteel recliners for the two front for me and the wife, . My three place Valencia will go in the back row.
I have owned various models over the last three years and I have never slid down in my seats. And there have been times I have sat in them for five hours
I may be in the minority here but my ideal theater seat doesn’t have a stitch of leather. I’ve never found leather all that comfortable the times I’ve owned it. Give me this chair and feature set in a nice durable microfiber cloth option I’d be all over it.
I’m completely opposite. I rarely sit on my living room furniture. I will gladly take leather any day. The only time I’m not a fan of it is when it’s in my vehicle during August Florida Summer heat. 🤣
Nice chairs, but not ideal for small rooms. Valencia claims they're wall huggers on their website, but they're not. Need 8" minimum of clearance. My current HT seats only need 1" of clearance from the wall.
Devils advocate here... Maybe it's because I live in the south where it's hot and humid, but I've never enjoyed sitting on leather furniture. It's fine for a short time, but to me, it always starts to feel sticky after awhile. I would love it if they made high quality theater seats in a nice cloth or microfiber.
Like both you and Michael, I'm in the south. As long as you're in a well air conditioned room the sticky leather shouldn't be a problem (especially a well insulated home theater with dedicated AC). Not much different than the car.

I have bought similar chairs to the Oslo directly from a manufacturer in China. The main difference is I have no diamond stitching with mine. Where are Valencia seats actually produced ?

I am a fan of slimmer width seats and common arms to save total width space in typical HT rooms of most older homes, ie pre 90s

Yes the Oslo, Oxford and the Monza I recently reviewed are on the firmer side. I prefer the Tuscany the best as it’s softer.

I’ve owned them for several years. No rips or tears yet. The seats do show signs of wear but I’m not great at keeping the leather conditioned either.

I have the Valencia Oxford Console Edition couch. Be aware that the diamond pattern will leave imprints on your skin. Comfortable otherwise.
I have always worn a shirt when sitting in mine so I haven’t ever seen that.

I hate how I slide down slowly in my Valencia seats. I find myself adjusting during movies. I am going to replace with individual Flexsteel recliners for the two front for me and the wife, . My three place Valencia will go in the back row.
I also hate how none of them can fully support my legs because the bottom of my heel sticks out and I somehow don’t like that feeling… Lol
I have owned various models over the last three years and I have never slid down in my seats. And there have been times I have sat in them for five hours

I wish they had heating and message in there chairs.
As much as I have seen Valencia add functionality over the past three years, it would not surprise me to see that in future chairs
They would have my business if they did that. That's what I have been holding out for the last few years

I may be in the minority here but my ideal theater seat doesn’t have a stitch of leather. I’ve never found leather all that comfortable the times I’ve owned it. Give me this chair and feature set in a nice durable microfiber cloth option I’d be all over it.
I’m completely opposite. I rarely sit on my living room furniture. I will gladly take leather any day. The only time I’m not a fan of it is when it’s in my vehicle during August Florida Summer heat. 🤣
Nice chairs, but not ideal for small rooms. Valencia claims they're wall huggers on their website, but they're not. Need 8" minimum of clearance. My current HT seats only need 1" of clearance from the wall.
They now have thin versions that are not as wide.
I just measured the Oslo Ultimate Luxury. They can be 6 1/2” from the wall.

Devils advocate here... Maybe it's because I live in the south where it's hot and humid, but I've never enjoyed sitting on leather furniture. It's fine for a short time, but to me, it always starts to feel sticky after awhile. I would love it if they made high quality theater seats in a nice cloth or microfiber.
Like both you and Michael, I'm in the south. As long as you're in a well air conditioned room the sticky leather shouldn't be a problem (especially a well insulated home theater with dedicated AC). Not much different than the car.
I want comfort. Can careless about everything else.

I have bought similar chairs to the Oslo directly from a manufacturer in China. The main difference is I have no diamond stitching with mine. Where are Valencia seats actually produced ?
These are manufactured in China. Likely many brands using the same facility.
@@Youthman Many thanks for your feedback. I choose these seats because I like the style. Detail quality is IMO quite good. Not as perfect as the best italian sofa manufacturer but still surprisingly good.
