Dude, I don't care much for theater chairs but you are a hoot to watch, so I still enjoyed watching the vid. You remind me of a friend I lost some 20 years ago so I see him through you. Keep up the good work. Stay special and invested.
One of the best reviews for these seats that i have seen as you give a good comparison between the Tuscany 2.0 and the Ultimate. Keep up the good work. Subscribed!

UNDERSTANDING THE PROS & CONS OF PERFORATED LEATHER.’ The Valencia, perforated leather seats, need some consideration before buying because they may not be for everyone! PROS Airflow - These seats allow air to pass through them, which helps to keep you cool. Sound absorption - The holes help to absorb sound waves. Comfortable - The seats are very comfortable, which means they are easy to sit on. They also come with a high backrest, which relieves pain and discomfort. Luxurious - The material offers a tactile sensation, meaning that it feels luxurious and smooth. This makes it an ideal choice for people who value style over practicality. Modern look - The seats offer a modern and stylish look. CONS Wrinkles - Wrinkles are common when using perforated leather seats because the material tends to stretch out more than regular leather. This means that the seats need to be maintained and taken care of. Small debris - The holes allow food and other debris to penetrate the seat’s interior. This could lead to stains and odors. Damage - If the seats get damaged, then the entire seat needs replacing. Therefore, make sure that you buy only quality products. Less durable - The material is less durable than regular leather, which means that it requires proper maintenance. It should be cleaned regularly to prevent dirt buildup. Costly - The seats tend to be expensive. To start off, I love the new seats and think they look great, and for many they will be perfect, just don’t spill anything on them. 1st Porous Leather Is Not Water Resistant or Waterproof. Porous leather takes fine leather and perforates 50% of it with holes, which deteriorates it's durability. It basically turns your 100% waterproof Italian Leather protective barrier, into a screen. Everything from pet & human dandruff to urine and beer will be permanently imbedded in the cushions through these holes, and there is no getting out the odors, or stains. Because of the breakdown Perforated leather causes, it requires more work to keep it in good shape. 2nd These kinds of seats are made for cars, not homes for a reason. Why? Because cars are subject to constant weather conditions, that allows quicker drying, and helps keep the smell, mold, and bacteria down. 3rd Since many home theaters are in basements, there can be high moisture, and humidity levels The basement moisture in combination of dust, liquid & food, pet dander, sweat, pet & baby urine, baby formula, or breast milk. In time, in a damp environment, bacteria, and mold can build up making your beautiful recliner very unhealthy. Due to the holes created on perforated leather seats, it tends to trap dirt within it and will require a lot of effort to keep it clean and conditioned. 4th Not Pet Friendly - With the holes cats and dogs that like to scratch can get their claws stuck in the holes, and if the urinate forget getting the order out. Look It's really important for consumers to know all the facts of the products they purchase, to allow them to make a conscious choice that their selection is one that meets all their needs and expectations.
Great review. I've watched it several times and helped me wait in anticipation as mine will arrive soon. I ordered the ultimate luxury in a set of 3. I think the new seat control with its slim design and black chrome finish would definitely be improved upon with a red back light shining thru the little figures and operated separate from the cup holders. Red would barely be noticeable if at all from the sides.
I'd be going with the vegan version and adding a lot of the add-ons makes it quite costly. I see yours has some perforated seats for more breathability. Do you think that is necessary? Unfortunately, that is quite an expensive add-on for the vegan version. Also, do you believe them when they say that this faux leather is just as durable as some genuine leathers?
Sorry I'm so late replying to this comment but here it goes: Perforations due help with breathability but I don't think it's a deal breaker. I don't know where you live but I usually keep my room cool enough that I don't need to worry about sticking to the seats. 😁 On the durability question, I haven't owned any vegan leather so I can't say how it will hold up. Hopefully this helps!
The amp is a Monoprice monolith 7 channel. I reviewed it here: ruclips.net/video/6szMvmGgZDk/видео.html I have a video in mind for the arendals. What’s your idea?
@@HomeTheaterHobbyist Make a comparison video of your experience when you had your Klipsch Speakers compared to the Arendals. Also explain the differences between 4 ohms to 8 ohms speakers. Since the Arendals speakers are 4 ohms speakers. Last can you would add you experiences with your THX Certified Arendals speakers with gaming and movie watching.
I just ordered 3. Not the luxury ones. But, long term survivability must not be great. 2 days after ordering and at least 2 weeks before I'll see the chairs, I got a call to try to sell me the extended warranty, with any number of ominous warnings of all of the horrible things that can go wrong with the chair that wouldn't be covered by the convoluted and layered warranty that actually comes with the chairs. Anyway, I've always enjoyed your videos. Wish me luck.
Thanks for watching. I haven’t had any issues with mine, now obviously this is a sample size of 1 so it doesn’t mean much. Respond to this thread and let me know how they turn out.
Hey I am interested in these chairs. Are these the ultimate luxury XL size? Or just the regular ultimate luxury? I noticed there’s those 2 separate models and the only difference is the slight difference in depth and height size of the XL and it’s $499 extra here in Canada. The ones you got in this video already look big enough and I could save the $499. Unless the XL would feel more comfortable. I am 5’10” around 155 pounds. So I would assume the regular one would be just fine?
@@HomeTheaterHobbyist dude these chairs rock. The arm rest had mad deep room. Im 40 & go to gym so lumbar support helps. Love the headrest when watching movies. But when I sit directly centered in front of 77" & thr 7.2.4 I feel like I'm in the movies. Now I have to rewatch all my movies again
I like the way you think, sir. These chairs look fantastic , but alas they are unaffordable for me. But your review has given me a direction in which to go. Much appreciated. At age 71, the nap factor is important! Lol
If you're under 6ft 2 in (or 1.87 meters), then it should be the same regardless of gender. If you are taller than that I'd go for the "big and tall" series because they are for those 6ft. 3inches and taller. Here's a link to the Big and Tall Series: us.valenciatheaterseating.com/pages/collections#bespoke-series-xl?sca_ref=278777.lJosNMtUwE
Not a fan of the diamond tufted pattern. Reminds me of my '70s boogie van with the same pattern in brown naugahyde. Looks cheap and cheesy to me. Yes, I know they use this pattern in luxury vehicles now but that just makes _them_ look cheap and cheesy too. I would never buy a Bentley with this pattern of upholstery.

I'm saving to buy these next black friday. I updated my tvs and consoles first. Seating is next year and these are top of the list.
They are great, I'm loving the USB C connections. 😁
I wonder how this compares to a layzboy chair. i dont think they even have cup holders in theirs

Is the feeling in the lumbar erea stiffer in the Luxury edition than in the regular seats or is it completely the same?
It’s the same as far as I can tell.
But - the backs are so tall. This blocks your ears from the rear speakers.
I still hear the rear effects, although I'm typically reclined. 😁

They are the normal Ultimates no the XL version. I think they recommend the XL for folks over 6' 3" or something like that.

How tall are you?
Not talk at all 5’ 9”. Valencia recommends their big n tall line for those over 6’.
Wish it had both heat and lumbar massage.

I can't look at chairs of this sort without thinking of the chairs usedby some unfortunate disabled people.
