According to the tier list, Kirby is actually the 2nd best character in the game (only behind Pikachu). Now I personally don't care for tiers, but I will admit that Kirby in Super Smash Bros. 64 was definitely the most powerful version of Kirby IMO. I use Kirby in any game he's in so I don't care what his tier ranking is XD
@RaffoPhantom It's a TAS - Tool Assisted Superplay. Meaning he can playback everything as slow as he wants and decide what movements to make at each frame. So he could be a pixel away from the damage box of the falcon.
anyone asking for the song needs to actually learn to dig a little harder (or at all) before asking. someone in the comments section clearly says it's "S.S.H - Broken Thunder" Great combo vid by the way~
the combo on fox at 2:02 could be teched out of at 2:19, the consecutive hits just fool the combo meter but really nice job :) i especially love the combo on falcon at 0:23, probably took a hell lot of time
I love how you show the use of the weaker Kirby Up-Tilt. It's very hard to set it up in a real match. HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!
This is impressive and fun to watch! :) Kirby is the only character I use when I play this, and I own. But what surprised and impressed me the most is, the fight during Capt. Falcon: Kirby can cancel out his sword attack?!?!?! This is possible on the down swing?! If so, how? This would improve my game even more. Thanks for the post, very entertaining! :)
@YamahaYourFace I saw that after you mentioned it, and it's very impressive. Though I am sad still. It would be super-awesome in strategy build-ups if characters could cancel their up-B's. Oh well, still an awesome video! :)
@DangerAaron21 If you watch carefully he is grabbing the edge then immediately letting go on his up B's. I use that with Fox like crazy it's so useful for correctors with fast-falls.
I miss SSB64. The sound effects, how freakishly awesome Kirby was, everything. Don't get me wrong, Kaabi is still cool in Brawl and Melee, but you gotta admit he was toned down and overall less effective than he was in 64. I especially miss his fair, that is the most amazing
@dragonball6641 utiliza TAS es Tool asistant speedrun, es como jugar a una velocidad lentisima en relaidad, incluso con pausas, realmente el no juega asi
None of these combos can be pulled out in a real match, the video is a demonstration of cool combos purely based on entertainment just like most videos showing ssb combos in training mode.
@papakaladoophirseh This is a TAS, meaning it was played in slow motion with savestates. He couldn't play nearly as well in a real game. Still, you're probably right about him being able to beat you.
@zack81k: what are you talking about??? it was a set up, but it's not unreal... this vid is for entertainment purposes only. All of it is unreal as in it's so freakin cool...
Cute video and sick combos, :) my average score on this game is 131knockouts on team battle with 3 level 9s versus me with no handicap Lol I Still have the n64 console attached to my flat screen In my living room, right beside my Xbox 360 :)
I used to play this when i was 11 yrs old (1999), and now that I'm 24 I played 3-4 hours with a friend dueling last weekend, awesome fuckin game And don't forget HAL also made Kirby's Dream course.. HA! awesome too..
Well, yes and no actually.A program(i don't know what it's called) let him advance the game frame by frame, allowing him to move kirby perfectly for the flawless combos you see here. don't get the wrong idea though: it still took a lot of effort since: 1. you have edit each frame individually 2. this game runs at 60 frame per second
TAS means Tool assisted superplay. Despite what people are thinking, this was done using an emulator and a speedrunning tool, this was not a show of skill, just a show of potential
1:26 Best combo of the video
this was 2:47

The ending was perfect...
People in the comment section seem to have trouble understanding what a TAS video is.
one of the best tas'es i've seen for this game. very nice.
This was really well made and very enjoyable.
Dude amazing combos and nice ending
I totally owned this character when I played N64, such good times. I mentally go through the button presses watching this vid.
I always loved Kirby. Blood red feet of death.
I love the one with the bob-omb and the mines :P

That pose at the end

anyone asking for the song needs to actually learn to dig a little harder (or at all) before asking. someone in the comments section clearly says it's "S.S.H - Broken Thunder"
Great combo vid by the way~
Love the music, and the combos.
the combo on fox at 2:02 could be teched out of at 2:19, the consecutive hits just fool the combo meter
but really nice job :) i especially love the combo on falcon at 0:23, probably took a hell lot of time
THAT is why I play as Kirby.
0:38 was Epic couldnt stop laughing at capton falcons sounds
I love how you show the use of the weaker Kirby Up-Tilt. It's very hard to set it up in a real match.
HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!
The last combo and the item combo tricks were the best in my opinion.
That was just incredible!!!!! I laughed so much! Favourited ten times over!
This is impressive and fun to watch! :) Kirby is the only character I use when I play this, and I own. But what surprised and impressed me the most is, the fight during Capt. God dammit and I thought I was good at this game. The item ones are COMPLETELY MIND BLOWING. Thanks for making me feel bad about myself ;(
the timing is really godly
hahaha love the ending...you're lucky falcon didn't retaliate though
I love The end, Very Good!
really nice, hard to dodge out of these combos with no air dodge. Its nice to see combos like this done, with SSBB, its almost non existent
That little finishing blow in the end is 64 Kirby in a nutshell: Up-tilt
I should learn these combos when using Kirby before the next Smash Bros/ game comes out.
Sadly his moveset is different, and his up tilt in other games wont be as overpowered as it was in 64
@YamahaYourFace I saw that after you mentioned it, and it's very impressive. Though I am sad still. It would be super-awesome in strategy build-ups if characters could cancel their up-B's. Oh well, still an awesome video! :)
This is a TAS? It just looks like Isai playing :o
ese tal isai es todo un enfermo :s, me encantaria jugar con el, aunque me gane en menos de un minuto
@CyborgSprite man....this part is epic
i love the ending
*"The Pink Demon"*
greatest smash game ever made
@DangerAaron21 If you watch carefully he is grabbing the edge then immediately letting go on his up B's. I use that with Fox like crazy it's so useful for correctors with fast-falls.
I know this is TAS but some stuff had to be planned like the item placements. Still very impressive!
eres una bestia maravillosos combos
i feel nostalgic
so...this is basically what I did to my brothers with kirby. Me and kirby just rocking their faces in every time
Man I miss this Kirby. Next smash give is this be one back
epic pose at the end :D
like a ping pong ball making others a ping pong ball
damn, sharp moves man!!
The ending makes me SO HAPPY. Captain Falcon's retardedly long grab used to make me absolutely furious.
*sighs* I'd LOVE to show up my friends with mad skills like these
the one around 1:11 was sick
Lirby is an aWESOME Chracter to Fight as.
I think it was Broken Thunder by S.S.H.
I miss SSB64. The sound effects, how freakishly awesome Kirby was, everything. Don't get me wrong, Kaabi is still cool in Brawl and Melee, but you gotta admit he was toned down and overall less effective than he was in 64. I especially miss his fair, that is the most amazing

what's the name of the song used in this video? I really like it
wow¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ muy bueno el video
a mi tambien me gusta mucho smash¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
You may not know this, but in ssb64, you can only tech on the ground. Not any walls or ceilings. :D
None of these combos can be pulled out in a real match, the video is a demonstration of cool combos purely based on entertainment just like most videos showing ssb combos in training mode.
I would like to find the music in this video too please!
awesome video

Link's Combo:
Brutal.
Damn! Even Captain Falcon couldn't stop Kirby!! D:
That song though what's it called?
@ApparaTF Yea they are. They are tool assisted combos.
You know what's funny? A lot of these combos can be teched out of or DIed out of. They look sick though.
I just love Kirby, but somehow I feel like some moves missing for him/her whatever that pink fluff may be. :)
Cute video and sick combos, :) my average score on this game is 131knockouts on team battle with 3 level 9s versus me with no handicap Lol I Still have the n64 console attached to my flat screen In my living room, right beside my Xbox 360 :)

Cuantos de estos combos son Realizables sin TAS?
How many of these combos can performance without TAS?

2:45 Venusaur's cry matches the music.

Awesome!
From now then im using Kirby
Is the music an SSH song?
