How To Do A Prayer Walk in Your Neighborhood

- Prayer is central to all we do at Backyard Church. In everything we pray. Make a decision - pray. Reach your community - pray. Pray about everything.
One way to pray for your community is to prayer walk. This video gives a simple walk through (pun intended) of how to start prayer walking and how to progress your prayer walk to deeper and deeper levels.
We start simple and progress slowly, making adjustments every few weeks. This allows anyone to try it. It requires no expertise. Even introverts like me can do it!

Thank you very much for these guidelines and challenge to start acting like disciples and not nominal Christian. I started prayer walking last week and since listening to this video have prayed for a prayer walk partner. I am meeting with someone to do the walk with today. I pray for our neighbourhood to be changed. Thank you again.

@@BackyardChurch I got someone to prayer walk with for 6 months around a neighbourhood next to my church. We had a BBQ followed by an Alpha course. We had a couple from the neighbourhood attend on and off. Today a group from the church will drop invites for what we call ‘warm space ‘ once every week until winter is over. A meal will be served. We have not had a harvest yet but we are not giving up!
