Yeah that’s for torquing up the moon. You want 1/4 torque wrench. Nothing more satisfying than the click of a non digital torque wrench.
Loving the battery build. Can’t wait to get started on mine.

Also in France for 19 years now. There are some shops that open on Sundays. There are 3 main sizes of square drive, 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch. As an ex aircraft engineer, I have step ups and step downs for the various sizes that I use on bikes and cars. You must have a neighbour that has similar. You have bought a huge torque wrench that is 3/4 inch drive and, as you said, is for truck wheels or something similar. You will probably find that there are also smaller versions of the same tool.
I think that you are much further north than me.

I'm in USA I use a digital 1/4 inch drive torque wrench ( this is small enough for the range)

So what's the company that sells the DIY battery boxes?

I would also wear safety glasses when working over those batteries... if you accidentally dropped a tool on them it could create a pretty nasty short circuit and sparks would go flying.

Hi ,loving the vlogs, what part of France are you in 🤔,I'm over near aubeterre but on the Dordogne side 🙂,just about to build an off grid cabin with my partner (built my own 304ah lfp last year and all working great still ) naturally looking towards 48v using the same 304ah grade A cells /15.5kw server rack battery with one of those DIY EEL boxes ,did you order direct from America 🤔,or EU stock ,same with your cells ,I get mine from the Netherlands (they've come down dramatically in price since I ordered mine ).
    Mark.

What BMS are you going to get ? I guess the seplos sms would need to be disconnected - or would part of it be left connected ?

It says on the side 3/4" drive, 200 to 1000nm (I hadn't got to the end of the video) either they sent you the wrong one, or you didn't read the specs. We have 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4 and an inch drive, and no doubt bigger drives are available , but that's what we use. Truck wheel nuts are torqued to 700nm (some are less) , we use a 1" drive air gun and the torque wrench is 3/4 drive. Car wheel nuts are generally around 120nm, but again these do vary. Hate to think what that 3/4 digital torque meter cost.

You can use another balancer, but this will convert energy into heat.
If the cells were all charged to 3.6 volts beforehand, this will remain the same in the group for many years.
But there's no arguing about that because for some it's a question of faith.

3/4" torque adapter could come in handy if you need to tighten up some tractor or lorry wheel nuts but realistically you should send that back for a refund or flog it.

when dealing with such small torque specs, it would be a lot more accurate if you used a smaller torque wrench which would be 1/4 inch(size of the head) drive
your socket looks like a 3/8 drive
the torque wrench looks to be a 1 inch
the adapter you got for the male end looks to be 1/2 inch
    3/8 adapter to 1 inch
    1 inch torque wrench female
    1inch toque wrench male
1 inch to 1/2 inch adapter
    That make sense?

1/4 inch drive torque wrench range is 20 - 200 inch pounds - what you want and might need a 1/4 inch drive "insert the socket size that fits on the nut"
3/8 inch drive torque wrench range is 10 - 150 foot pounds
1/2 inch drive torque wrench range is 30 - 250 foot pounds

Yes makes complete sense. I've just received my new torque wrench in the post and it's much smaller.
