All excellent tips and you definitely have enough, but not too much. I found the cable tie trick with the Nalgene bottle particularly brilliant. I'm stopping at the hardware store on the way home for a pack of cable ties :)

I agree that with minimal supplies, you didn't bring too much attention to yourself. Love how simple and fuss-free you kit is! Thanks for sharing 😉

You're not supposed to lick your brushes! (I do it too--when you paid $40 for the brush, you don't want to damage the bristles putting the cap back on.) The zip tie on the water bottle is genius.

Me too. One friend has a little bottle with honey+water and uses her fingers to smooth the hair. But as I usually carry my mouth around...

Smart and simple, does the job! Your small modifications make all the difference. It has to be practical and comfortable, otherwise it won't work so well.
How do you wash the paper to remove the film? I wasn't aware of that, but I have noticed the effect you're talking about.

Hello, Thank you for sharing your Urban Sketching Kit. I'm a new Sub. I just watched your plein Air video. I sketch with graphite and ink. And have just started using watercolor again. And I'm enjoying it. Thank you again. 😃

Hi Teresa, Yes, watercolor is amazing. I plan to do a lot more myself. Cheers, Paul

Really appreciate the info about the sizing on the paper!!! Thank you! Also, how do you store all your loose sketches/pages? Do you eventually have them bound, or keep them in a box, etc? I like the idea of loose pages to keep myself from becoming too precious about a sketchbook.

Hi Wendy, Good question. If small sketches are good I frame them or give them away. If they are not so good, I bin them. I have a spiral binding machine. So binding is not a problem. But I collect too much rubbish. So it does me good to throw dodgy pieces away.
