Some handy tips here. Do you have examples of your work? I'd love to see some.

Wow love the idea of having that disk and a stickie as a mount base... though I would have to avoid carbon fiber since I neither have a decent mask or sufficient exhaust to deal with cutting it. I wonder if I can MacGyver something out of old CDs, maybe 3 glued together to make it less flimsy and fill the hole with resin next time i do a pour :D
Thank you for sharing your setup - glad to have found something unique :) Subbed! & hoping for more great videos :)

Thanks Ezenami. Yes, the Carbon Fibre is good but messy. Not sure what the alternatives might be. But plain old plywood would do. It's strong and light. It would need to be very smooth on one site. 3 CDs. Good idea.

What is the name of that nice palette and where can you get it?

Hi Paige. I don't think Winsor Newton make them any more. Shame, I love mine. But it's about 20 years old and I can't see any quite like it online. In truth it's only a nice piece of kit. Painting regularly with a regular paint box would have a much greater impact. P

You can get a MEEDEN palette like that on Amazon. I use them for plein air painting and they are awesome. I use kitchen magnet clips to attach to my easel.
