Thank you. Nice tutorial. Not only for the beginner but for a refresher for those who have had a brush in hand for over 60 years. I also appreciate the fact that I can hear you and you speak clearly. Thanks for getting me inspired again.
i dk that YOU CAN TAKE YOUR NORMAL ARTY SUPPLIES.THEY WEIGH SO LESS. MANY PEOPLE MAKE WATERCOLOR SETS IN A ALTOIDS BOX. YOU CANN TAKE A NORMAL SET WHICH WILL INCLUDE BRSH AND MIXING AREA
When I leave the house with watercolors I bring 1 pencil, eraser, 2 waterproof pens 2 brushes, metal watercolors palette with 24 colors and small papers
Man, there's just so much to say! I guess I better throw it all out there! Well, first, I loved seeing the materials you use. Those golden handled brushes are gorgeous and I need to get my paws on at least one. Second, I like that tiny Altoid palette. So cute!! Third, I have been having a severe case of Wanderlust, it's almost hurting! I am a city girl and I've been stationary this season, so being able to explore areas that are not riddled with cars and buildings it's something that I am dying to do. I think that's what attracted me so much to you and your art work, there's always a sense of wonder and exploration every piece you make. It's heavily inspiring me to get the heck out, but the winters here are pretty brutal LOL! Fourth, I would absolutely adore seeing a Sketchbook flip through. I've seen hints of your Sketchbook on your website or a few videos here and there and I'm so curious about what's in there. :o! Anyway, with all of that said, thank you so much for sharing what's behind the curtain. I don't know why I'm such a die-hard fan of your work, but I'm not asking questions! I love your stuff, and I love seeing everything you create.
Well done video! Copic has a long “O” that rhymes with doe. The Rendr sketchbooks don’t bleed through even with alcohol markers. I’m in the process of filming a watercolor series including travel and palettes. I enjoy seeing what others use - thanks!
Really great video, thank you for sharing all your gear! It's always really fun to see what other artists carry around with them :D I'll have to get to Daiso and search for one of those plastic carriers!
I just found this channel. Im so happy i found a artist on RUclips that shares the same name as me❤❤. I love art and especially water color paintings. I have become a fan of you💕
I thought your face looked familiar. I’ve seen you before from somewhere. I went to your channel to look at some of your videos and saw you on one from 2 years ago, holding your book. 2 years ago we were in a chat group together from somewhere. It might have been Facebook, for all I know. I don’t remember. My memory isn’t what it used to be. I’m getting too old. But I remember watching you create art at around the same time as when your book released. Are you still creating? I hope so. You are very talented. 😊
The golden colored brushes are the Escoda brand travel brushes. They have the optimo and versatil range forget the name of the third range. Optimo is Kolinsky sable hair and versatil is synthetic hair
I use a travel toothbrush case for my brushes, but have always struggled to keep that upright to protect the brush tips. I LOVE the rubber band w/linger took idea! Genius! I’m going to give it a try with either an old brush or chopstick. Thank you for this video!
12:06 That tube looks like a two liter soda bottle before it has been blown with hot air into its final shape. Some manufacturers buy these 'preforms' to use as-is for things like the toothbrush you mentioned. They can be found retail, but probably only in large-ish quantities.
Oh my goodness! I’ve squeezed 14 half pans into an Altoid tin, but this tiny palette is genius. Ty for the info on it! (As well as all the rest of a really thoughtful video.)
@@patparada44 I think she mentioned the pan she showed in the video, with the insert with preformed pans, but don’t have time to rewatch to check. I decided to stick with sticking half-pans in with tiny magnets under them so it was easier to swap colors, so I didn’t buy the thing she mentions, sorry. Perhaps ask her directly? Or search on Etsy.
it would be very helpful for me if you could show a little of your process behind the painting. by that, i mean... how you prepare your ideas, how do you do your thumbnails (can you show some to us?), how do you prepare your color pallet (how you decide which colors to use), how you use Photoshop ( you said something about preparing your pallet and composition first in Photoshop). i'd really love to hear more about those things. your art is amazing and i fell in love with it at a first glance! do more, share more and thank you for existing and doing amazing stuff!!!
I'd love to see a video flip through of your sketchbooks! Thoroughly enjoying your art. Such an inspiration. The colors in your paintings are wonderful. I love your style!
I'm going to assume that there is no longer a way to get those Stephanie Law watercolors anymore? Lol because I love them! And the video was posted so long ago... so wouldn't surprise me if it's no longer a thing
I know this is unrelated but if you are planning on going to a comic con or something please go to C.A. again. It was really cool going to your booth at (I forget if this is what it actually was) the harvest festival in Pleasanton.
You could use a tooth brush case to put brushes in
That smart
That squish-proof brush keeping tip is so useful!! Thanks 🤗🤗

Hi. Lovely video! Would you mind sharing how I can get that tooth brush container? Looks very practical and just the right size. Thank you!
Thanks so much --please repeat the name of the brushes with the goldColored casings

Where did you get that glitter highlight extension in your hair?? Ps I loved this video 💕
Nice video but I hope you dont travel alone. Too many crazy people walking around in the time of Covid.
Hi, I’d like to know about how to get the Altoids paint sizes. I tried to look it up, but I couldn’t find it.

Hello! I would like to know if you still have the link for the 3d printed porcelain palette that fits with altoid tin? Thanks!
Just found your channel via this video. Links for supplies not working. Who makes the small palette in altoid tin with 3D printer tray?
Thanks
Your hyperlink for "THE LIST - Art Travel Essentials" has an "m" for .com when it should be ".co".
