I'm sitting here at home listening to this on my stereo with the front door open on a beautiful sunny and breezy day and the sounds of the wind chimes on my front porch and the birds singing and the breeze rustling the leaves are all blending with the music quite nicely. Thanks for sharing this beautiful and interesting music!
Ever since "Here Come the Warm Jets" came out in 1974 I have always been a follower of Enos' wonderful music. Eno is a true pioneer of Ambient and Electronic music.
I've been a painter for 45 years and been listening to Eno for about that long. It's so nice to have other artists still working while 98% of others have given up or switched to something else. 👍
Before my daughter could even walk we would sit on the couch and she would use Bloom on my iPhone to make music. I wish I had recorded it back then. She'll be 16 years old next month. 😳
@@philipbarrett3151 I think I might like going through life guessing, instead of knowing all this stuff. Seems like there's an ignorant bliss that comes with that, you know, guessing.
The moment I discovered "BLOOM," I was captivated. The app beautifully captures the essence of the "MUSIC FOR AIRPORTS" album, bringing it to life in a whole new way.
Bloom is a generative music application for iOS created by Brian Eno and Peter Chilvers. The software plays a low drone, and touching the screen produces different tones, which play in a loop. If the screen is left untouched, the software will create its own music. I'LL HAVE TO TRY THIS ON MY PHONE!
I bloom music software free? I used ‘audio tool’ full music studio. It took long time RUclips tutorials audio tool before I had fun. Dialing sound in from scratch is something people get lucky with. Until you copy every tutorial of dialing in different sounds. I hated some of guys who used recording production electronic music software (jargon) so I turned volume off completely and copied every move their mouse made, everything on piano roll. Nine times outta 10 it was same exact sound. But 15 minute sound tutorial would take two hrs to copy. I didn’t like their sounds. But it showed me what to do. Audio tool is free, but you can’t use audio tool on iPad. iPad sucks they give you GarageBand. You cannot manipulate sounds on garage band like audio tool.. But audio tool is harder getting sound unless you use billions of sample, presets? It’s very intimidating at first. Old school studio that made game music late 70 80s Pac-Man, centipede, asteroids. Embarrassing . But you can do anything you want with.. Does Brian eno know how to play piano? Lmao!
I have android phones. I paid for this and had this on my last phone. It is not available on my new android phone. So I paid for it, LOVED IT, and lost it seemingly forever. At least I have this video. 😊
I've been singing since 1956. I just wanted to drop in and say I love your vocals all over your latest (decade?) work. The synth-rumentals ain't bad either.
In "Diary of a Genius," Salvador Dalí expressed a strong opinion about the use of color by northern painters. He remarked that a northern painter could never be great because the lack of intense sunlight in the northern regions affects their perception of color. Dalí suggested that the northern light leads to a predominance of muted and cool tones, especially purples, in their work, as opposed to the vibrant and warm colors found in the Mediterranean light that influenced his own palette. Dalí's view reflects his belief in the importance of natural light and its impact on an artist's ability to perceive and reproduce colors accurately. He felt that the intense sunlight of the Mediterranean region, where he lived and worked, allowed for a more vivid and dynamic use of color, which he considered essential for great art. This perspective highlights Dalí's emphasis on the environmental and sensory influences on an artist's work.
It is available on Android. It's called Bloom: 10 Worlds Edit: I purchased it on Android couple years back and now it's not available anymore yet I can still use the app. Weird. Luckily you can install it via APK.
The first question that immediately comes to mind: Is there a feature that enables recording directly from the app into a DAW if you want to make a track with this (or at least samples from from this) or would that violate the IP? I hope the audio from this will be released separately as an album. Can’t wait to try this on my own with the app!

His first two albums are among my favorite of all time and he continues to amaze 😍
You mean, Here Come the Warm Jets and Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy, Amb.1&2 ? Either way, all 4 are very fine albums 😊
Dreamy windchimes, xylophones, and musicboxes. Thank you.
I've been a fan for over 40 years and Brian you just get better and better, love it
Having a rough time of late after listening to this for a while was so healing and relaxing it was beautiful.❤
Hope things get better for you.
The first app I ever downloaded, back in 2011; swiftly followed by Air and Trope. Never get tired of them.
Still use this app after all these years. Love it.

You have about a decade on me, but I completely understand how you feel.
Recently I discovered many musicians I thought were finished, dead long ago were still recording. Even their prime, none were a huge success’ anyway
Thank you Brian

You can go over line-out and capture it with Audacity and then export it to mp3 or wav audio file .Then import it to your daw.
I cannot stand Apple, and wish this was available for Android. It's really creative and soothing.
Yes, Android should be automaticaly avaible, it's so restrictive to purpose only Apple app, Art for the us, little people please !
