Been watching your videos for a while. Just gotta say; I know what its like to lose your mom. Lost mine to complications from MS. My main advice; yes it will hurt for a long time, but remember the good times, and that she is no longer suffering. Take it easy.

So sorry. My Mum passed from cancer at the end of February. I know exactly how you feel. I was alone with my Mum when she passed and I had a sudden knowledge that she was met by her parents and taken to the next life. Our parents will be there to pick us up when we pass, I know as I witnessed it. I find it a great comfort, hope you do too. God bless.

My sincere condolences, and thank you for the message, which I agree with 100%. My own mom passed away from cancer in 2020, only 4 months after diagnosis, and since then I have tried to be more open to my loved ones, and contact them more often. But a reminder is important. I'd add to your message, that in my experience everybody who has ever lost someone has regrets like 'I should have done/said more', even if they shaped their whole life around caring for that person, and everybody else asmires them for it. None of us are perfect, noone acts the perfect way every time, and it's OK to forgive ourselves for that.
She is no longer in pain, my bro. You are an honorable person. I cried to myself when you first spoke about this...not because we know each other(I am just a subscriber) but because I appreciate what you are going through. Be strong my friend

My grandfather apparently targeted my wedding (the first of his grandchildren's weddings that was in a church, or for that matter successful) as something he was going to make it to, and had a very good time, then decided that he was tired. Died the night we came back from the honeymoon.

Be careful what you wish for. The last 3-5 years of my Mom's life (she passed at 96), she no longer recognized who I was, even though I was her caretaker for the previous 10 years. She no longer believed she lived where she lived, even though she had lived there for 50 years. She thought someone was coming for her, even though she didn't know who or when, and constantly tried to leave the house to meet this person. It was a nightmare, and I still suffer some PTSD even though she died two years ago. "Longer" is not always better...

I watched my mom say good-bye to both of her parents last year. In both cases, all their kids were able to make it home in time. With my Nan, we really felt she waited for her youngest to get home before she passed.

She had stage 3 cancer. She had an aggressive cancer that spread very quickly. The week she passed she was hardly speaking and was only open one eye until the day she passed. I lost my Mom in 2022, the last time I saw her she was in a coma and I could only pray and kiss her forehead. I'm so glad you managed to say goodbye. The funeral looked lovely with all the flowers. "Dare per scontato"! as an Italian sister I totally relate. Thanks for this life lesson. I actually felt her "thank you", I'm sure she's happy now. He is risen and so will she. Nooo Metatron. I'm so sorry for you and your dad and family. I've followed your struggle since last year. I'm holding you and your Mom in the Light. I lost my Mom in 2022, the last time I saw her she was in a coma and I could only pray and kiss her forehead. I'm so glad you managed to say goodbye. The funeral looked lovely with all the flowers. "Dare per scontato"! as an Italian sister I totally relate. Thanks for this life lesson. I actually felt her "thank you", I'm sure she's happy now. He is risen and so will she. Baby, have a big hug and much love from this fat Italian cat mama.
