I've started growing plants recently. I've bought some hibiscus plants. I feel happy to see your video because I'm suffering with the same problems in my hibiscus. Thank you so much for your clear explanation and remedies.
Thank you once again! You are totally correct..In most of my videos, I provide complete updates and do it only after getting result (in fact, I have uploaded many videos with 1+,2+,3+ years updates). Do it for my viewers and I also love to document the growths of my plants.. However, some videos don't need any updates and sometimes it becomes really important to upload at the right time. Only that time, I upload without the updates. For example, recently I have uploaded such few videos and you have already watched the Hibiscus video :-) Definitely I would update the result and I would do anything to make it bloom well!!!
I've noticed you've changed some ingredients. Your success is clear to see. Now I'm ready to wage war on those pesky mealy bugs, aphids, and spider mites!! And enjoy those beautiful blooms and foliage at their BEST. Thank you for sharing your secrets of success!
Thank you very much for your words..yeah, have changed a bit. Now a days, don't use any Chemical pesticide..too tough to use them, usually get headache after using them..he he..anyway, they are not good for environment too. Hope, your war is going well..All the best!
Ive had my Hibiscus for over 2 year's and it grew big and strong giving me the most Beautiful flowers. About 2 months ago I was watering it early morning 5am and I noticed the little flower pods turning brown in color. I figured the plant wasnt getting enough water. So I watered a bit more. Days went by and it got worst. The flower pods looked rotten and they began to fall off. I also noticed they the plant was no where near full with leaves as it used to be. With even several leaves turning yellow. I just knew something had to be eating away at it when I wasnt around. I never saw anything though. Finally a couple of days ago I just really paid attention to the plant to try and understand better what was happening and noticed alot of white stuff at the top of the stems all over the plant. Wasnt sure if it was mold or fungus or even mildew so I decided to google it. To my surprise, I was right something was eating away at the plant and it was all day right in my face. The white stuff was in fact mealy bugs. I was so mad at myself and the bugs. It took me this long to google it and find out after the plant sustained so much damage. I made my own solution i found on another video. Couple of teaspoons of dishsoap, a couple of caps of rubbing alcohol 70% and a couple teaspoons of insecticide in a nice sized spray bottle. Let me tell you, I went to town on this plant. I killed all of the Mealy bugs. I sprayed them so hard that they washed right down the stems and branches right along with the solution. I do it twice a day for the last 2 days. Im pray may plant feels so much better and statts its recovery.
@joshideepa2386 Oh It went ahead and died. Lol. It was all sticks until a 2 weeks ago. Now small green leaves 🍃 are growing again. It seems to be taking forever though. Almost as if the Growth is stunned. Maybe it's the Texas Heat
Sir, I found my hibiscus plant full of mealy bugs and was determined to get rid of them. Hence, I referred to your channel. One of my hibiscus plants is cream with dark brown canter, just like in one of your photos. Will definitely try out your neem oil + dish wash tomorrow evening. That’s you for taking the trouble to explain everything in detail and also telling the viewers to only spray early morning or late evening
This is great advice and helpful videos. I currently have a hibiscus inundated with aphids, all the buds are turning blacks and falling off before blooming. Neem oil and dish soap and alcohol don’t work. I would like to try the pesticide Exodus you recommended. But if am unable to get the product such as Exodus pesticide here in the US, do you suggest any other product. There aren’t many suggestions for organic pesticides here in the US. My garden feeds many hummingbirds, butterflies and bees and I wouldn’t want to make anything sick. Thank you in advance for you suggestions.
Glad you found it useful and thank you so much for your feedback, much appreciated! I don't think so you would get Exodus in US..and here, trying to send you the composition - Tea saponin 5%, Seaweed 8%, Aqueous Media 87%. Sorry that, I am not 100% sure that it's accurate as it's not from the manufacturer. But still, I believe you can try using other brand using the same composition. Totally agree with you and because of the same reasons, I have stopped using Chemical. All the best!
Thank you for watching from USA. Instead of that, you can use anything that do the job of a spreader and it doesn't have to be very costly. Basically, it helps in spreading the solution to all parts of a plant. Also, sometime we find difficulties while spraying on many plants as the solution doesn't get stuck to the leaves (due to cuticle). In that case, a good spreader does the job perfectly. I hope, I have answered your query and thank you once again!
I have been using this - amzn.to/4aFg6XE from last many more months. So far working well. Need to clean the Nozzle with clean water sometimes..that's it.
I think it's not available online..but, please find the link in description. I have added one of the best sprayers. I have used this in past. Thank you and sir is not required actually...
I can only speak to what has worked for me - I had the same issue for over a year- I used the suggested method from this channel and then just used a little dish soap and water to spray the buds directly now I have more hibiscus than ever!
You have given a best solution to my Hibiscus which has been affected with same problems now .Thank you very much.
So glad to know I could do something and thank you so much for your kind words, much appreciated!

Your narration is very easy to follow and looks like you have tried the processes on your plants and only then put up this video for viewers 😊😊

Can we leave spread well and put just neem oil and liquid soap. Will it still work
Is it required to wash the plant next morning after spraying neem oil in the evening?
No...not required and please avoid that. Thank you!
I read somewhere that it the oily layer on leaves will stop plant from photosynthesis, hence , they were recommending to wash it next morning?
Thank you. I hope to find at least one of these products. Every yr these stupid aphids come back 😩
I wish you all the best 👍 Agree with you...Aphids n Mealybugs are two unwanted pests that attack Hibiscus a lot, specially at this time 😞
Thankyou. I was just thinking about how to do this!
You are most welcome and I am glad to know I could do something, thank you :-)
@@GardeningUpbeat Thankyou for replying to my comment. I do like very much the way you explain and show the viewer clearly how you do everything. 👍

Beautiful
I have tried neem oil and it does not work on my hibiscus. I have been trying for two months, and it only keeps getting worst.
Neem oil can help prevent. But once affected, neem oil is useless... Only chemicals help...
