A bit late, but maybe this helps: As for the heads, on the snare he uses Remo Clear CS on the top, Ambassador snare side bottom, and on the toms Emperors top, Ambassadors bottom. In terms of snare wires, I'm pretty sure there it's just the stock 20-strand wires from Pearl (S-1420I), but I think in his recent videos he has upgraded to 42-strand ones. In case you might prefer less wires like I do, you might like this experiment: So I actually took Pearls 13" wires for my 14" snare and cut them down to 8 strands like Gavin Harrison. The cool thing with using 13" wires is you get great response even at lower volumes, but as you hit harder, they kind of back off a little bit, so you get a fuller, less wire-y sound while still keeping your ghost notes clear. Hope this helps :)
