This album was out for a while before radio decided to play that song. Mr Love was the song being pushed as a single.
I interviewed them before they were a big thing and they were quiet and friendly folks. The second guitar is what set them apart...not a bad song on the album. Still holds up more than plenty of 90s rock. They fed us their backstage beers and blew away home towners goo goo dolls that day. I blame Interscope for not pushing them more.

Its too bad that the guitarist that did all of the recordings for their debut album didn’t write any it. Smdh... Charles Mooney III is the correct guitarist to credit and it’s a real pleasure to be able to call him my friend. In fact, on 8/3/18 the original guitarist(Charles Mooney III), drummer (Madison Winchell III) and bass guitarist (Lisa Umbarger) all got together for a reunion show at the Ridglea Room in Fort Worth and played “Away”, “Backslider” and “Tyler” with Madison’s fiancée, who sings in his band Urban Gypsy, on the vocals. It was amazing and went so well that I even think that it might have sparked some motivation for them continue playing together some more, but I don’t know any more details other than that so look it up and follow them yourself for updates

Just wanted to finally sing along. Enjoy. 🙂
    You say forever
    And I confess I shiver
    You say hope
    I say that's where I'm goin'
    To be in the shade
The oldest trees above my head
When I'm away, I know in my heart
    There is a heaven
    If I'm out hunting
    Come right on in, yeah
    And even when I'm gone
    My doors are always open
    And if I'm asleep
Make sure my blanket covers me, yeah
When I'm away, I know in my heart
    There is a heaven
    When I'm away x6
    To be in the shade
The oldest trees above my head
When I'm away, I know in my heart
    There is a heaven
    Come right on in, yeah

This song drives me crazy up to the present year 2021. My second favourite Toadies song next to Tyler. I really love listening to this song over and over again in a week. This band also reminds me always after listening to also listen Hey man nice shot from Filter, Stinkfist and 46 & 2 by Tool, Shame, Save yourself, What do I have to do by Stabbing Westward, Open up your eyes, Casual affair, If you could only see by Tonic and some songs from Jars of Clay and Better Than Ezra and more.😉--Aims

This video & song captures what my life has been like living with seizures & epilepsy. The part with the doctor is amazingly spot on. They've barely scratched the surface. Please check on your loved ones who have any kind of brain trauma. It doesn't make sense. It's hard to explain. It gets lonely.
