Great interview from Dennis. He is a classy man, does not shy away from difficult questions and he is very articulate and eloquent. Love his storyteller perspective when he does interviews. For years I avoided Styx since DDY left, but I've seen them 2X in recent months. In all honesty, I loved them & will go again. Styx seem happy, DDY seems happy, the split might have been the best thing for all concerned, at least for the time being. Continued success Dennis, keep doing interviews please!
I loved Styx up until 1983 "Kilroy Was Here" album ---- I thought they jumped the shark by that point and had nothing left in the tank. Styx got unfairly labeled as "corporate rock" like Journey ---- but it takes actual talent to create that many great songs that stand the test of time. Fuck the corporate label.
Rain is an awesome song, as a DIE hard classic era Styx fan, this pays homage to the A&M era of Styx. As Harris says, the whole album is great, but if I had to only pick a few, it would be; One Hundred Years from Now, Rain, Crossing the Rubicon, I Don't Believe in Anything, Private Jones and Turn off CNN. Dennis Deyoung is a genius.

are there going to be more, I find this very interesting, being a die-hard Styx/Deyoung fan
So, is _One Hundred Years From Now_ his best studio album? I don't have any of his solo albums except for the live album, which is fantastic.
For the love of God, get rid of that "Retro Rewind" intro... obnoxious...
What ever happened to the rest of this interview?? Would have been nice to see the rest. Guess that will never see the light of day, which is a shame.
