I really enjoyed the swift bag! It's a excellent first starting bag w lots of pocket space and room for discs. Durability isnt amazing but it isnt bad either and it will serve you well as you learn
My first bag was an Innova Adventure Pack for like $40. It's a great little bag that's not on the list here. It holds a lot (probably not the 25 discs it claims) and is pretty durable. It's low enough of a cost to where you don't feel bad upgrading, but is good enough of a bag that it'll carry your stuff long enough until you upgrade and then give it away.
The Lat 64 Swift was (is) my first real bag. I got it 4 years ago, have over 200 rounds on it, carry 18-19 discs in it and is just now barely showing any tiny wear on a couple bottom seams. I just got a DD Combat Sniper on sale (2 bottle holders) as my first rail stiff bag to try that out. I was hoping I could also fit a hoodie in there, but not quite. Haven’t used it in the field yet.
Dynamic had a smokin Black Friday sale. Picked up a Recruit Lite basket for $109 and got a Paratrooper for free. LOVE this bag already! Great upgrade from the Trooper.
Great video! Shopping for my second bag. I bought an Innova Standard bag as my first, and I’m sorry that I have to move on. At the suggestion of my experienced friend, I’ve been trying to keep my bag/mold selection very small so that I can learn them but 1. I want to be able to carry more putters for putting practice at the course. 2. I want to carry used versions of the molds I want to try out, on top of the discs I know. Plan is to play my round with the known discs and toss extra ones as I go on through the round. 3. I want more storage to carry towels, Bluetooth speakers, and maybe some sunflower seeds. I’ll be stopping by Fly Green in South Denver to check them out in person. Nothing like feeling the quality with your own hands.
Just picked up a PioneerV3 on Black Friday. Love the bag so far. Just wish the top loop was a bit more substantial and padded. Otherwise seems to be a great deal for a great bag.
If you’re putting the Atlas Pioneer on this list you should also be talking about the Discology OG V2. Also for max capacity under $100 the Discology Izzo can’t be beat. Maybe a bit too big for everyday rounds but it’s an awesome tournament bag at a very affordable price.
I just got the Atlas with their Black Friday deal. It's a fantastic bag. I have not had any issues with stability so far and am loving it. Definitely an upgrade from a cheapie Amazon bag I had after I first started playing.
My wife got the Paratrooper for me for christmas. Of course I had to open it early since I'm still getting rounds in. It's been nice for the few weeks I've had it.
@@superblitz yeah, I was torn between the 2 and went with the Izzo for the extra storage. I'm super happy with the Izzo, it's way more space than I need though, so I'm sure I'd love the the OG V2 had I went that route.
I just received my Pioneer V3 maybe 2 weeks ago. The bag is amazing! My only issue with the bag is that stability problems are still happening. Placing it on flat ground it still falls forward. Not sure how to remedy the issue yet.
The prodigy bags are really bad from what we've seen locally they really don't hold up if your actually playing. I have a paratrooper, I had some separation on the straps where they connect to the piece that holds the lower strap, I had them reinforced with furniture upholstery thread, super strong now. Also super cheap right now.

I was surprised the regular Trooper bag didn't make the list. Aren't they still $40? Seems like one of the best value options still around.

I have been using a Voyager Lite for over a season… it is absolutely the best.
Definitely should have been #1. The paratrooper's overall build quality is nothing compared to the Voyager Lite's.

Love my upper park pinch, but they’re very rarely available in full production and so totally agree with it not being on the list.

Discology Izzo might be the best bag for under $100. $80 and it fits 30+ discs with tons of storage.

Maybe try putting a disc up flat against the back wall of the main compartment. That helped stability on another bag that kept falling over.

The Dynamic Discs Combat Commander is only $5 more than the Paratrooper. Only $94.99. Well worth the extra couple of bucks.

The Paratrooper is such a great bag to start with. Prodigy on the other hand shouldn't be on any bag list after how they screwed over Levi.
