- If y'all were wonder why this was re-uploaded, I realized today that I forgot to include the Sullivan Street crossing in Madison, AL, which is now at the end of the video. I'm also slowly working on the one for 2015. One of the videos decided not to cooperate, so I'll see if restarting my computer fixes anything. If not, then that'll just delay me a bit. Once I get it done, though, I'll begin work on my massive update to Mike's Railroad Crossing Website, which I'll try to complete by and post on Christmas.
2014 was my second best year in railfanning (2015 was probably my best). In 2014, the HMCR still had 8933 operational, up until about October when it died. Since the HMCR didn't have any spare power, they borrowed an MP15DC from Norfolk Southern, numbered NS 2402. Norfolk Southern still had a lot of their D8-40Cs and D8-32Bs out running on the rails. I didn't railfan CSX much, but I did see a good number of AC44CWs and ES40DCs on the CSX trains I did see. White DOT tags also ruled the area then, with NS and CSX not having very many along the lines here. Shortlines also used a mixture of blue DOT tags and no DOT tags at all.
Athens, AL had had all of the crossings in it upgraded to LED by the end of 2013, except for one: Market Street. This crossing would remain incandescent until the summer of 2015 when CSX finally upgraded it to LED (but left the dying General Signals Type-1 e-bell until the crossing got brand new signals earlier this year).
I also recorded my first train outside of Alabama in 2014 on the CSX Chattanooga Sub in the town of Cowan, TN.
I even caught the Alabama & Tennessee River Railway for the first time through a couple of crossings on their line that still have signals from when CSX owned the line, with their two GP40-2Ws pulling a train south through Albertville and Boaz, AL.
I also managed to catch NS operating a bare-table intermodal train with two high-hood GP38-2s pulling it; something I'm likely to never see again.
Thanks for the post. Alarm bells. And, horn of the maximum sound. The maximum sound of the horn, it is also long. It is not in Japan. I am glad :)
Update: I just tried that and apparently, you've saved me. It was net and I switched it to com. And it works. It's been doing that to me on some crossing pictures.
On the crossing pictures, make sure it's pointing to rxrsignals.com. If it is, then change it from .JPG to .jpg (or vice-versa), as browsers hate it when an extension uses the wrong letter case for some reason. Feel free to put these in the Error Reports section of the forum when you find them so someone can go through and fix them.

Are you ever planning on coming to the UK?
Maybe in the future, but not anytime soon. Maybe once I get through college and have a decent paying job first, but it would probably be rather fun though.
The ns train sounded louder almost like tunnel
Are you doing some work on RXR signals? I try to go to Portland and hit the crossings a-z buttons and they keep saying the site cannot be reached?
Portland, OR? Check the URL and make sure it's pointing to rxrsignals.com. It may be that one of us forgot to change the link on that page from rxrsignals.net to rxrsignals.com when we moved domains earlier this year.
I'll try that
Omg the Chevy impala will get in big trouble

#2 ..just Awful bell and train horn. Get rid of that mechanism. Tear drop bell be just right for those lod time cantilevers.
What mechanism? And the cantilevers are just repurposed traffic light mast-arms.

@@godzillanick200graygod9 If I didn't, the video would literally be several hours long.
Other people do it though
@@godzillanick200graygod9 I'm not them, though.
