      Makes me happy to see companies that just don’t want to kill what is considered a “ pest” The mom got her babies moved them and all r happy. Gives the four babies a chance to grow up and be squirrels themselves to forage and have a life too. Great video. She was a determined mom saying where is that hole. Why is it all plugged up. My god. I had it so good for the little ones. What happened

    They are so cute. I had squirrels in my wall similar. The mother squirrel was so smart. We had a snake camera so put a tiny hole in the wall put the camera in and once the mother squirrel seen the light she quickly relocated her babies so we were able to close up her entry way.

    The little Black one was so cute. In the UK we have lost a lot of our native Red Squirrels due to the Greys. However they still survive in Scotland and other pockets around the country.

    I've seen plenty of black squirrels around Southern Ontario, but I didn't realize they could be mixed in to the same litter as the gray ones!

    Beautiful babies. In my yard we have had all black squirrels for years, but just in the last 3-4 years we are seeing more and more grey and grey/red squirrels making a comeback. Wondering where the blacks are going off to.🖤🇨🇦

    Decades ago I was watching a Much Music interview with Janes Addiction in Queen's Park, Toronto. The singer, Perry Farrell, stops mid-sentence and exclaims: "squirrels! You have black squirrels!" Not so common in Southern regions, I gather.

    I've lived with pets prairie dogs since 97, my females when they find a baby wandering from another female, they take it into their nests as if it were their own baby.

      it's 5/8 drywall. It's thin in that area because the mother squirrel chewed through it. Duh.

    • @gateswildlife

      The mother squirrel was trying to get back to her nest! We were able to search the entire area to ensure there were no babies left inside.

    In Canada there is no real house. No brick. Like paper. Thats why animals can go inside! Like Chineese containers.

    • @gateswildlife

    Thats not a good nest spot. Wouldn't the fiberglass in the insulation be bad for them?

    • @cwolf201
      @cwolf201 6 месяцев назад +1

      squirrels aren't intelligent enough to figure out that it's bad. it's just warm and soft for the babies.

    I really appreciate the kindness you show the animals you relocate, but I'm puzzled by something: why didn't the homeowner wait for the babies to leave the best, then get the hole blocked up?
