- Prof is both a genius and a looney tunes nutcase. And I can't get enough of him.
Rhymesayers ended their relationship with Prof in 2020, so it appears that Pro is releasing his new material as an independent artist. If this is the direction he's headed, it just sounds like more of the same Prof I know, only crazier, and as a consumer of his content I have absolutely no problem wiht that. One of the nicest and severely underrated for how many amazing joints he's put out.

He filmed with no permits. So imagine driving up on the scene and seeing him running around zip tied and hooded in his boxers.
Imagine seeing the police rolling up on the same scene and EVERYONE but Prof takes off!!

There is a plot to this song. You actually mention it in the intro to your reaction. This was released a year after rhymesayers dropped him. Powderhorn Suites was recorded under rhymesayers, they let him go, he got the masters and PS hit #3 on Billboard on his own Stonehouse label. Re-listen to the lyrics with that time line in mind. Also look at the" kidnappers" at the end. I dont think its any actual rhymesayers artists but I couldn't say positively that its not Brother Ali leaning on the trunk. This is a dope dis track to rhymesayers (the label not the artists).

FYI - he’s not rhymesayers they dropped him - for sexist lyrics - on the day the album was supposed to be released - he runs his own production company now, which is cool you make more money when you’re your own boss.

Thanks for watching and thanks for clearing that up for me. Yeah, I learned that he got dropped, but didn't know the reason. Sexist lyrics makes perfect sense, too, because he definitely keeps it raw. I recently heard the track "motel" from him, and the first thought I had was that if Rhymesayers didn't drop him already, they probably would because of that song lol
@@chizzek-juan7679 Prof’s original Dj, DJ FUNDO was accused and guilty of sexist acts to women/underage girls, so Rhymesayers grouped all and “assumed” Prof did/knew of Fundo’s acts and didn’t take action. Rhymesayers cut ties with prof a few days before his Powderhorn suites album was set to release so Prof kicked ass and promoted the shit out of HIS Stophouse music group and with the support from his fans a few months later the album was released!!

After the first few listens I am pretty sure that the dodo birds are rhymesayers, and they took prof out to a field and warehouse to execute him and he's dancing like he doesn't give a fuck. I'm also guessing that the bullshit non-lyric mumble rap parts are also mocking at least rhymesayers in general if not someone in particular.

Prof was in a video called Dodo Bird 2 with Atmosphere, right before they signed him. Hence the references Dodo Birds, and "saying rhymes" and moving thru the slime. (Slug is the rapper of Atmosphere) also when he said they wouldn't have known about the DJ Fundo shit without him
