Prof gets better every album. This is his first album after being kicked off Rhymesayers for things his old DJ had done. Prof had parted ways with him years ago. The more I listen to this album the more I feel like this album is Profs response directly to RS on how he took the his dismissal. Prof was kicked literally kicked the day before his last album Powderhorn Suites was to be released. At least RS gave Prof the rights to the album and Prof released it on his label Stophouse (which hit the billboard charts)
You cannot go wrong with any album of his. Go down the rabbit hole trust me. It's a deep one too. He is slept on hard anywhere outside of this ice rink we call Minnesota. But so happy to see him finally catch the traction he deserves. His "charisma" as you put it is well earned. This man has definitely put in the work to have a sort of arrogance. Wouldn't you to if you had been grinding for over a decade with minimal traction and finally getting it
The man literally rolls out a red carpet over the fans and walks on it in his live shows! Absolutely kills it live, Creek Boy and Gasoline show a lot of his live shows in the videos.
same homie! love the metal shows and other crazy acts like prodigy and tenacious d and shit.... seen prof's live videos and hes literally my #1 need to see artist. Hope he comes to Toronto some time soon.
🔥🔥 I love #Prof!! U should do a review of the #Ren #SickBoi album. He's an independent UK artist who just went #1 in the UK. He & Prof are talking about a collab & it's going to be amazing when it happens. (Also, Ren doesn't copyright because he loves reactors, & if u do get a false claim, his team is on top of dealing with it.)
That intro to the first song the felt familiar to you sounds very similar to "Who Dat Boy" by Tyler the Creator feat. A$AP Rocky. Specifically the end of A$APs first verse and part of the chorus or a refrain. Also the Prof song seems to pay homage to ODB and his song "Shimmy Ya."
your chat comments saying the singing is off, its because theres no overproduction on his singing.. its completely raw, theres a million videos of him doing these songs live and he sings them the exact same, and honestly most of the time sounds better than the album version
Edit: Absolutely AWESOME reaction man!
A whole album reaction? Definitely got a new sub ✌️🙃

Punk/metal guy and Prof puts on one of the most intense live shows I've seen. You gotta go.
