- Hi guys! Sorry I've been MIA for SO long. I have been busy traveling and spending time with my family since moving back to Texas.
Just wanted to make this video to update y'all and clear up why I won't be moving back to Spain. I absolutely loved my time in Spain but I believe this was the right decision for me at this time.
I still have videos that I will be posting very soon for those of you who are moving to Spain this year. Expect those in a few days. I wish you guys the best in your journey and I am so excited for all of y'all.
Thank you as always for the support and always feel free to reach out to me with any questions or advice you may need!

WHAT IS AN AUXILIAR DE CONVERSACION?? • MOVE TO EUROPE IN 2022...
We were teaching in Spain last year too, but moved on to working full-time in Germany while doing our travel RUclips. It sounds like you made the right decision for you to pursue your dream as a travel content creator!
Living in Spain as an auxiliar can be tough, especially in bigger cities, with the small salary you get, but it's a great way to travel and live there for a short period of time, like you said.
Yeah I definitely loved it and it was an amazing experience but for now I need to focus on my career goals! Best of luck to you as well!☺️
love this video because I just got a placement and it doesn't feel right to accept. I feel like I just got into the groove of teaching yoga and prioritizing wellness and while living in spain to travel around europe is a dream of mine, I feel like I want to get deeper into what I am doing here. go us for making decisions that feel intuitively right for our lives!
Yes! you can always go to Spain another time in your life when it is right for you ☺️
I'm doing research on teaching English in Spain as well and it seems like there are a lot of people who take that route to Spain who don't necessarily have a passion for teaching. That's unfortunate because it's a disservice to the students and the community to hire people who don't have the heart for it. I watched another video where a young lady decided to quit the program because she didn't know that Spain has more than one season. She literally did absolutely no research before going. Please don't teach children if you don't love doing so. I'm glad you made the best decision for you though. We live and we learn.
I don’t want to teach for a living but when I was teaching in Spain I loved it and gave it my all. I ended up loving the kids and always did my part that was asked of me. I just don’t want to pursue teaching for a living.
@@VanTravels_ Makes sense. At least you gave it your all, which is what counts. I’m sure your students loved and appreciated you! 🥰
You’re videos have been so helpful to me! I’m also from the Dallas area and I have applied to teach in spain.
thank you so much! I hope it has been going well for you ☺️
Wow. Time flies. I remember when you went to Spain and the ordeal you had with finding a place. Best wishes
thank you so much ☺️
Omg you definitely 100000% need to visit Turkey 🇹🇷 it’s so beautiful especially Izmir, Kaş Bodrum and Antalya. I’m from LA living in Istanbul 😊
I definitely want to visit soon! Hopefully I get to go on this upcoming trip to Spain!
How did you leave your program? Did you just email them that you quit? How did you cancel your apartment agreement? Thinking about the program but don’t want to deal with major decisions like finding an apartment on my own in a place that I don’t know. The only place I am comfortable with is Seville since I lived there twice.
I emailed the people who sent my carta and then also the point of contact of the schools. I didn't have an apartment agreement yet. I definitely recommend doing the program. I loved my experience. Apartment hunting sucked but once you find a place you're fine!
@@VanTravels_ Since most leases are a year and the program is 8-9 months, how did you determine your lease with your landlord? What did you decide on? How we’re your roommates?
Well, sounds like the right decision for you!
Thank you! I think so too!!
Ni falta que hace!¡!
