Wizzair Airbus A321-231SL Hamburg to Gdansk | Full Flight

Well guys, I am happy to finally present my first Wizzair flight video! And what a way to do it. This was leg two of our June 2017 Mega trip consisting of Manchester, Hamburg, Gdansk and Liverpool. This particular flight from HAM to GDN was operated by one of their Airbus A321 Aircraft, which still looked and felt brand new both inside and out. This particular aircraft, HA-LXJ previously wore a special livery to promote Budapest's bid for the 2024 Olympics. Sadly this is no longer the case. Anyhow the aircraft arrived slightly late due to strong headwinds and we boarded not long after 2pm, departure was fairly soon after, off runway 33 with a nice right hand climbing turn, we shortly reached the cruise where I was able to get a good look at the new cabin. Legroom was excellent and the seats were comfortable, all positives from me. The strong winds that delayed the outbound flight were very much helping us along to Poland and soon enough we were beginning our approach to Runway 29 at Gdansk. The descent was very steep and rather exciting to say the least. The approach and landing were absolutely amazing. The pilot started to configure the aircraft early on the downwind and began a spectacular low visual turn to line up with the runway before a smooth landing in some gusty conditions!
Overall I was impressed with Wizzair, an all round great carrier offering exceptionally cheap fares with a good quality product on offer. Would definitely use them again, especially with the A321.
HOWEVER. It is important to note there is a difference in product on the A320 and A321 (As you will see in my next flight video). The Cabin on the A321 and the A320's delivered after 2014 is different to Wizzair's older aircraft. It is still an excellent product but lacks a lot that the A321 boasts!
