Was a bartender for over 15 years and have heard so many men talk about their frustrations in today's world as a male.
Learned so much from this teaching, thank you so much.

It’s funny how this research is considered cutting edge when it’s been a central tenant of cultures and different religions for centuries. It’s good old fashioned common sense

I taught it was a very interesting fact that only fathers make more then mothers, not men single men making more then women.
Never heard about it spoken about that specifically before.

I read that rough housing as you say elevates the adrenaline which in turn activates certain genes which probably are involved in the telemores in some way. The father of my child was a drug addicted BPD sufferer who only met his son for 2 hours and never saw him again. I use to throw my toddler in the air and do this rough playing. He's three now I still do rough and rumble play though at some point he will get too heavy

I recognize and appreciate the message being put forward here and it does need to be discussed. Just as a little constructive criticism that will probably never be read by anyone.. I think it's harder to sell that message when you sound mousy and weak. Dr Farrell needs to take some voice lessons and project some force.

I think that's entirely untrue and unenlightened about homeless people. In fact, most homeless people grow up being abused by their families, and suffer from social isolation because outside people can't cope with their trauma, and there's no excuse for domestic violence against little girls to teach them "respect". Being homeless has nothing to do with dreams and inadequacies, other than generally outside people being unsupportive and having a stigmatized outlook like your guest has, granted there's no unresolved mental health issues.
It's dangerous masking and brainwashing to an increasing problem in Canada, and probably the United States.
I agree with a lot of what he says otherwise. It's just toxic to "rough house" to generate/teach respect and rules. It's like training a dog to attack people. You can set boundaries in other ways by playing with toys, or games.
Men don't have the same emotional vulnerability 100% than women have.
