Hi Jordan, I prefer for them to create an ad account and give me access most of the time rather than adding them as an employee on my business manager. What is the benefit of adding them as an employee over them giving you the access? Or is this just personal preference of the advertiser? Enjoyed your video by the way not trying to criticise just wondering! :)
If you have employers in your agency and you dont do everything by yourself they would need to ad every employer. With this method you can give your employers access to your business manager and they will automatically have access to the ad account.

I have admin access to the page and ad account but I can't see the client when i go to "ads manager". When I click on ads manager it goes to my own business account. So my question is: Do I post the ad for the client under the umbrella of MY business account? And if I do won't it charge my credit card instead of theirs? You can make a series of screenshots to help and guide your client through the whole process of "how to make an ad account" and ask them to paste the ad account ID afterwards the account is made..... It would make everything alot easier for and your client while setting up the payment method.

If you're outsourcing ad management you'd still set up the client, you'd just add them as an employee to your business manager and then assign them the ad account as an advertiser
If they have a Business Manager Account then you have to add them as Partners in Business Settings of your Business Manager. If they are an individual who will work in your Business Manager then add them as people in your Business Settings.
Can you create pixels and events for them or do they have to create it for themselves? Are there any prior permissions that they need to give to manage pixels and events?

Idk if it will help anyone but here's the little quick notes I took lol 1.get admin access of the clients Facebook page 2.now that we got there page on our business account we want to ask(add)there ad account ID but if they already have one we can start doing ads. 3.once you got the add account you go in the setting of the ad account then you ask for them to enter there card information but they need access to the ad account for them to enter there card settings by themselves. 4.go to people.assign them as employee and enter there Facebook email then you have to select and then give there Facebook page admin access alongside there ad account so they can have control of there financial pages 5.to get them to enter there payment settings you have to go on the payment settings page and copy paste the URL to them for them to enter there own information by themselves

You can use pixel helper on Google chrome to see if they have a pixel installed on their site. Also if they have an ad account then they are running or have run ads previously.
If your client already has an Ad account t and has run ads before, once they give you access to set up and run their ads, after you do all that will they be able to see the ad history and interests and all the info what we used to set up that ad? Say they give us a retainer each month but decide to quit, can they run / edit that same ad we created for them?

I figured it out! In business manager go to ad accounts and add yourself as a "person" there. In case anyone else is having issues with that ;)
