I just remembered that I used to love to illustrate my own writing paper sets with different characters and themes. I spent hours making them and used them for my friends and family. My mother sometimes used them to write to people ,too❤🥰

Agreed. It is something that I love to do to my papers to make them pretty as you cannot find pretty stationary anymore.

Dearest Laetitia....your stationery collection is just lovely! John helped me download them as soon as we subscribed to the project. It will be some time before we can actually print them, but I know I'll enjoy using these beautiful papers when I write to friends and family. Thank you for including this very accessible project. It is a form of creativity that can be enjoyed when time will not permit paper, paint and glue .

I agree with you entirely, I too miss those days of correspondence, it was such an excitment to wait for the post to arrive, open the envelope and read far away news😊 I still have the letters that my at the time future husband wrote me when he went off to do his military service for a year back in 1989...he even wrote me some poetry ❤ Your stationery is lovely, well done! 😊 Maybe one day we will all write beautiful letters to one another again 🤞 until then, take care Laetitia 🥰

I love writing letters! I do not have an ongoing correspondence with anyone as I love chatting and sharing my daily life with them as it happens in photos and text messages online. But I regularly send them handwritten letters with special stories of memories or musings about specific topics in addition to my digital messages. I also try to write every message I write online with care, and unless I am instant messaging with someone directly, I always put some time and thought into what I write.
Handwritten letters are such a treasure! I always knew this. I have multiple boxes full of every card and letter I have ever received. Starting with the cards we received at my birth.😂 Putting together a letter and choosing all the little nuances and details you described as well as illustrations and stickers and photographs is just so much fun! And it is a wonderful way to show someone how much you care about them ❤
Thank you Fiona!I'm very glad if they center you ! yes it's so true , I can't brememebr having ever received one day a sloppy porrly quickly written letter , letters are like nice clothes they force you to have a better posture and to show the best version of yourself too, showing how you care for the other one. It's wonderful that you have kept all the cards you have received so far and keep them preciously ! Letters are so muchmore fun to write and send than emails..... I did write a lot to my sister, who lives in Portugal. But letters don't arrived and I learned to work with the laptop. And that is how I write now. It is not so nice as a real letter. But I love the video and how you need to write the perfect way.

Your stationery designs and illustrations are beautiful❣️ I enjoyed your delightful and inspirational presentation. It is all so wonderful and very rare to see these days. Thank you for reminding us of how special putting pen or quill to paper can be. Writing letters (in cursive) on stationery is something that will always be very dear to me. this is so wonderful, I love the idea of matching your paper to your mood and to the person you're writing to! (and of course perfumed letters! 🌹💖) I am very bad at keeping up with email or texts, so writing letters is much more my speed! 💌 you have such beautiful handwriting!

You're welcome! ! goodness yes!! though he improved his spelling in the later years, but what is funny is that he constantly noticed and laughed of others people's spelling mistakes (like his secretaries or officers)
As a girl I wrote letters to family when I was bothered and didn't want to risk a fight. Now and then, I write notes to neighbors in my apartment building, b/c I don't like to disturb people in person. I'm pulling back on that though.

Tu as une très jolie écriture :) Comme c'est vrai qu'on ne prends plus le temps d'écrire ( à la main). Je ne me rappelle plus la dernière fois que j'ai envoyé une lettre à quelqu'un. Par contre adolescente, j'aimais bien entretenir une correspondance avec amis et mon amoureux. Maintenant je ne le fais plus...sauf à Noel ou je peins une carte personnalisée àl 'aquarelle à ma famille et amies. Merci pour cette vidéo inspirante. PS: Adolescente j'avais adoré le film les liaisons dangereuses ( honte à moi je n'ai jamais lu le livre).

Thank you Henrikh! yes those mistakes are really bad he was notoriously known for his spelling mistakes ! yes isn't it! I think Joséphine mainly saw the financial and position opportunities in accepting his love letters, though to be fair they were sincere. We know that she showed his letters when she garthered guests in her home and was laughing and making fun of them, publicly, which she will regret and pay the price for many years later.
