I really liked how skilled Kira is that he can still down mobile suits without the freedom. But I like that it shows at the ssme time if he wamts to continue being non lethal he needs the freedom
This is probably one of, if not the best fight in the show. It is the first time since Kira fought Athrun that we've actually seem his SKILL. We all love to mock this show for "Kira Jesus Yamato" cause he can't die. But before he got the Freedom, and then here in this one moment where he goes back to a more or less regular machine - we do get to see that he was an insanely good pilot. Look at this fight. Kira is in a machine that's basically 4 generations out of date at this point. This would be like the RX-78 fighting against machines from the second Neo Zeon War in the UC timeline! And yet he kicks their asses without killing them and they only stop him through overwhelming numbers and forcing him to defend the ship.
I love this so much as much as anyone because it's one of the best scenes to show to people that Kira isn't being hand hold and carried by the Freedom. But let's not exaggerate this too much, This is more if the RX-78-2 is fighting an army of Gelgoogs and any MS with similar performance to it instead of like Doven Wolves because the ZAKU and by proxy the GOUF are MS that are told to be in the slightly above performance level as GAT-X MS considering something like the Windam is a par if not better than the ZAKU in some cases. It's still impressive to be sure but not to an extent to what you're implying and comparing too.

with how awesome the Strike Rouge Kira Yamato Custom is, it's a wonder how there have yet to be any P-Bandai kits of this, be it the Aile Strike Rouge or the Ootori Strike Rouge, in Kira's colors, of course.
@@Macross71981 the strike rouge had a powerful battery that changes the strike's color to red giving it a longer operational time than the strike he only change the voltage of the strike rouge idk why he did that
Thr VPS armor change color depending on the voltage setting of the armour. Kira simply used his old Strike presets for the Rouge, which include the voltage setting. Its explicitly shown that Kira told the ground crew to use his Strike settings.
@@echos5823 because he is more used to the Original Strike and knew that he is Going to get a New Mobile Suit anyways ? so he doesn't need it to operate for that long to need the Strike Rouge's Setting.

No match my foot, Zaku and Gouf aren't anything special, certainly not against Kira of all people. That being said, he might have performed better had the Rouge been equipped with the IWSP striker or the Ootori pack instead of the basic Aile striker. Either way, Cagalli must be so sad her brother wrecked her MS, a symbol of Orb
She got an upgrade at least before mu need to take over. But still seeing kira pilot with the normal aile strike was awesome and was way better than the remastered version.

あれ知った時はほんとすげえと思った。
しかも盾は爆砕ボルトでパージしてるっぽいからあれ慌てて手放したんじゃなくて右腕やられた瞬間に残った左腕じゃ剣出せないからという冷静な判断での動きっぽいのよね。足まで使って。
さすが歴戦の赤服。
オトトリのパックを犠牲にしてエターナルを守るのも良いけど、自らエターナルの盾になって損傷する流れも好きよ。

Honestly, Kira using the Aile Rouge is cooler since he has less weapons to work with compared to the Ootori.

設定上は0073年当時の最新技術の採用でベーススペックは上がってるはずだからな、シールドも元々の対ビームシールドからフリーダムが採用してたラミネート装甲と同等のシールドを装備してたと仮定すると、オルトロスを防いで片腕だけで済んだのも納得は出来る
