Dude!!!! Ease, you are awesome in this set! Perfect balance of old/new school music, cuts on the money, and unlike many, you didnt feel the need to scratch for 15 minutes straight ! My hat off to ya brother !!!
Today it's all about track selection, finger drumming showmanship and some cuts here and there. Serato PnT, Sample & Flip make all possible. I wish they would put a camera on the dj's laptop's to show the crowd what's up.
Number #1 thing is to keep the people on the dance floor happy, not bored, and a night to remember, you can cut & scratch all you want but never ruin a good vibe!
today was my 100th(I think) play through of this set and man I gotta tell you when I say this shit is FIRE! When I was a child I always wanted to be a dj and this is the embodiment of time and practice makes perfect. Mans knew he was gonna win off the rip. The Young MA adlibs were Sick as F*ck. The Switches in pace and dynamic underrated. I doubt you'll ever read this but, Continue Keeping This Aspect of music clean. Thanks Ea$e for your hardwork and dedication. Stay up Bruv!
Two years after I heard it for the first time and it’s still just as good today as it was then. That man knows his craft exceptionally well. Good job brother.
Wow Awesome set Ease you are a badddd man bro and I agree with you totally on not missing carrying around the heavy vinyl records. Most of us seasoned DJ's cut from that Tech 1200's era and especially if you did back in the day multiple throughout the week events including weekends no doubt echo the same Love for the new technology. Imagine trying to fly now days with 200k vinyl records in crates to match a 1TB Hardrive LOL.
Bro, you know you doing something right when you bring tears to a grown man's eyes. Something bout that transition into New Editions “Can You Stand the Rain” at 9:23 got me in my feelings man. 😅 Keep up the good work!
The thing I love about great dj’s and turntablists. The great ones sound good when you’re not watching. If it sounds weird to just listen it’s garbage. Too many scratch fiends out there loving themselves instead of pleasing the floor. This shit here is legit!
This is a great set helped along by the advancements of technology. Couldn't do this on the 1 and 2's but I totally respect his ability to make it his own. He IS a good DJ who gets it. Great work DJ.
Nice clean cuts,,,your style reminds me of craze, cashmoney,,you have a nice flow on the decks,,,i was a complete bedroom turntabalist,,,,i learnt basic beat juggling,,,and autobahn ,,,two click delayed flares etc,but sold my set up 10 years ago,,would be rusty now,,nice to see sets like this keeping it real.
I'd love to see you do a mix with some old school The Boulevard Connection! 🥰💯💞 So much love have no idea how much the love meant if I was there I would be in my element is an understatement. Thank you for all the amazing mixes over the years you are true raw talent! 💯💞music makes everything better 💯💕💞
@@MRHYDROMATIC i could hear people scream at the beginning. But if that's the case, sound guy needs set up some boundary mics and get a little ambiance. It leaves the performance falling flat.
Mannnnnnn this set just showed me how much work I have to do with crate depth and just risk taking! THIS SET WAS EVERYTHING!!!! YOUR MISTAKES WERE FUCKING SEAMLESSSS LOL BRUHHHHH AMAZING, CLEAN AF!!
OOOOH MY GOD !!! That trap moment !!! Queen ! Marley !!! Maaaaaaaaaan U SO KILLED IT !!!! FELT MY SELF IN THE CROWD! I WAS FLEXING IN TRAIN UNDERGROUND LISTENING TO THAT ONE !! Love it !
i know i loved it. Warsaw was more metropolitan like an NYC or London but i got to see all of Poland. g'Dansk, torum, Lodz, "(radom) i cant spell it correctly. Loved my trip. And the club scene is dope. Europeans have a better appreciation of music than Americans. Over there you can play anything and no one ever leaves the floor.
I screwed up not staying focus but I was doing I dream of Jeanie, Spiderman themes in old school era back in the 80's. My versatility to incorporate crazy shit was my twist. A beautiful thing to see a brother doing it. My skillset was always blending I was never that good on scratchin.

Man why do you got to hate? everyone loves non stop "beep, ahhh" scratching for 30 min /s
nevergone not me bro.
100% agree. I also don't like the offbeat "juggling" that looks cool but kills the vibe

That reading rainbow part was what got me.
I was into it as soon as I heard Zapp & Roger. But how was it that no one was calling back for LeVar Burton???
Christopher Hall there’s no crowd mic, so we never hear it...it’s all direct sound.
@@MRHYDROMATIC i could hear people scream at the beginning. But if that's the case, sound guy needs set up some boundary mics and get a little ambiance. It leaves the performance falling flat.
Anybody that's mixing the Reading Rainbow theme is badass...
