I am a British male and, at 75, far too old to be involved in sport. This is scandalous. This woman has been treated abysmally by her swimming association and the university who should have protected her and supported her. The debate about these men who claim to be women is asinine. We should all be supporting Riley Gaines.

I'm a progressive close to Dr Peterson's age, and haven't been involved in sports since junior high school, but I fully support Ms Gaines. I'll never understand how American society decided to admit biological boys to girls' athletics, particularly at her level. It's madness.

I want to let you know that I am so GREATFUL for your work, I've been watching you since 2019-20 rights about when COVID hit and I was amazed at your resolve in dealing with the mob of haters. I never was driven to do anything except make new friends and experience new things. I ended up being quite successful in my life due to one thing I believe, my grandfather taught me how to be a gentleman, kind to people and be helpful. Anyway... to long but I wanted to tell you to keep the fight rolling you inspire people. Would love to meet you someday.

Dr. Peterson, you should know about the Michigan’s Women’s Music Festival, it was a Lesbian gathering since the 50s. The Trans community picketed there, because they wanted in, but the Lesbians who ran it would not allow them. They finally cancelled the festival because of it. So its not just the heterosexual women they are targeting.
They still act like MEN_ AGGRESSIVE_ Not all, but a lot.
I've heard about that festival all my adult life. It's nationally known, and from what I hear, a peaceful time of art and sharing. Sad that they had to cancel the festival. As a former (male) competitive swimmer in high school and college, I’m 100% supportive of Riley Gaines, just as I was of my female colleagues on our team (separated by gender, of course). I read an article about this from a local SF news agency. It said protesters were merely chanting “trans rights are human rights.” It makes no mentions of the physical threats of violence to Gaines. The university president referred to it as “an unfortunate disturbance.” No mention of demands of payment for her release.
They downplay Gaines’ experience with the understatement: “protests caused her to miss her flight.”
Every single student holding her hostage for those three hours should be expelled. I cannot believe that this is considered acceptable behavior for students at SFSU. Not only is it considered acceptable, apparently, it seems that the school administration is falling all over itself to apologize to the mob for allowing Gaines to be there at all.
This makes me sick to hear how far off the path of normal human behavior many have chosen to follow.😢

I do not support a biological male competing as a woman in sports.
There is a reason we separated male and female athletes.
Serena AND Venus Williams lost to the 203rd ranked male.
We do not see biological female transgenders competing in male sports.
There is NO logical reason for a biological male to compete against biological women.
Sports is the ONLY situation where I do not support transgender athletes.
Trans women may be women in most respects, but they will never menstruate or give birth.

This shows how great the disparity is in male vs female sports.

This is so reminiscent of the Chinese Cultural Revolution of the sixties and seventies. That's what it was like in the universities in China by the staff and the students. Incredibly brutal. The book "The Cowshed Memories of the Chinese Cultural Revolution" by Ji Xianlin, a professor at Beijing University gives a chilling description of what it was like.

This is such a crime! These people all need to be arrested and put in jail!
