I've played this challenge out many times and I've never once seen all 7AIs sit at home and let you build up 4 bases without attacking. This seems a little ridiculous.
During our StarCraft 1 days whenever my best friend and I got together we liked to be complete asshats online and use what we called the "Probe Rush." As the name implies, the second the match started, we'd send out the probes on a seek-and-destroy mission and kill off the opponent in the first 2 minutes of the game. There was actually one night when we were doing it and as it was not too long before SC2 came out, there weren't actually that many players online so we managed to get matched with the same player twice the same night. When the guy saw our probes coming into his base he just messaged "are you fucking kidding me" and forfeited the match. Was it dirty? Yes. Was it fun and hilarious to a couple of 17 year old boys? Absolutely.
Aren't these the cheating AI? I don't think minerals and gas are a bottleneck for them if you're not trying to run down all the resources on the map before beating them.
I literally played and watched Starcraft 2 for years and only now in the middle of this video my brain finally noticed: "Wait a second, the announcer sounds like Q" Looked it up and John de Lancie, the actor who played Q in Star Trek, indeed voiced Alarak How did i never noticed this, im a huge Star Trek fan and love playing Starcraft 2? BW AI actually respond to the enemy, if they faced air threat they will keep producing anti-air units. In SC2 they don't notice what is killing their army and will keep focusing on the one build they have rolled before the game. That's why it is so easy to defeat AI in SC2 by massing air unless their build is mass stalkers or hydra since they just don't have enough anti-air otherwise. Also BW AI always rush.
At the end of the vid, it just feels like as if the Carriers are secretly zergs LOL, the way they all just swarm and take the health in a second feels like you're controlling an unstoppable swarm
@@StuGames lol, u could just set their behavior to "fullon attack" to guarantee they won't rush. Bc to allow you to have no units or defense at min 5? for Elite PC? impossible,i mean, one maybe but 5 PC? let alone 7, at least 2 have to send some troops and then, slow down production.very weird they'd turtle up if not pre-set to full-on attack or "focus on economy"
@@ballsofsalsa01 you could just try it yourself to see that it's not very rare at all for none of them to rush you even with strategies set to random, it happens maybe one third of the time. You can see it happen in plenty of videos from other people as well.
@@StuGames hahaha... I think the AI can actually learn your pattern and counter it... thus making it harder to use the same strategy against them... is it?
@@StuGames Can I answer that question of yours man? How about Red Alert 2 try the Yuri's Revenge as well? LOL I'm dying to see vids of those by you, curious to see how you go! Esp on the Soviets
I'm surprised how badly the AI's work together. The proper strategy would have been to have 3-4 AI's build up on economy while the rest just do a constant harass. Instead they all just kept having their workers run around like headless chickens on the fringes of your base.
i mean it's like haveing 8 random players from the beggineng they know how to make a great army but they also want the greatest economy so they were kinda going for all economy they can find it won't much deffrence between AI and normal players
Maybe, with insane amounts of luck! This strategy relies on being able to pick apart the enemies one by one, if they are able to put their armies together and attack you're in trouble because you don't have a good choke to defend on this map. You already have to restart a couple of times against elites to get lucky enough for them not to attack you too early. Against insane AI's you would need a lot more luck than that, so you'd likely have to restart dozens and dozens of times (and you don't know if it's even possible until you do pull it off).
some major issues there. you did win but.. you have no robotic. if the enemy protoss decide to bring out a few DT your game is over. however it did not lol. huge bank no armor upgrade. the economy died after 4 bases in the name of hope beating the AI what with u have lol
I thought the Zergs were an invasive species until I watched Stu go 4 base into 5 stargate carriers.
You thought they were invasive until mission 1 in LOTV haha
Those first marines were like
"What? Carriers that fast?"
And Carriers were like
"Let us proceed".
Stu (Terran): Siege tanks swarm go brr, barricade the entrances, sit tight and keep killing them all!!!
Stu (Protoss): Skytoss was always the option.
This guy: "The strategy is to defend."
Also this guy: *Aggressively cleans out enemies' base.*

and you cant hit what you cant see. i concur winston !
he changes their strategy to make them economic focus so they dont attack pretty dumb

It is very impressive how you pick them off one by one.
Minor tip: I probably wouldn't accept the opponent's gg just to ensure their minerals/gas aren't shared with allies that can still produce en' masse

@@dankwarmouse6248 doesn't the difficulty go from Extreme or insane AI specifically to: 'Cheater'? I might be wrong.
@@dankwarmouse6248 as far as I know, the only AI that actually cheats in SC2 is the Cheater (Insanity) AI.
Funny how near the end they got scared of even your probes and used force field a bunch of times against them. 😆
The AI has learned to be afraid.
Thank you for putting the colours of the players in the correct order before the start
welcome back stu you finally upload new video
Tychus: Seriously, you sure like stirrin' up the hornet's nest!
Meanwhile Stu with a massive army of hornets obliterating everything in its path

Very impressive. The alarak announcer really killed my ability to enjoy this though.
How can you get the first 6 minute without enemy attacking your base?
Looots of restarts.
Clean sweep. 👏
Very unexpected release. 💯
The StarCraft 1 music makes me happy :D
Can't believe the Broodwar AI seems to be better than the SC2 one lol

Protoss canonically being so OP that they were nerfed into utter depression.
And this video shows us WHY they were nerfed.

Which announcer voice package do you use in game? I like it.
Alarak
HERE COMES THE GANTRITHOR
Ny ti i bog❤
I always knew carriers were OP
not gonna lie, they're pretty OP vs the AI (same as in SC1!)
YOUR WARRIORS SEEK THE ENEMIES' BLOOD
why AI stop when they see you build a Pylon? With 7 AI random tatical, may be not AI build rush tatical?
If you ever fight 7 so with Zerg the only thing I can think of is spamming brood lords along with anti air
Golden Armada vibes
can terran using bcs to do the same?
These AI sure were... passive.

yep!

I'm not sure, to be honest. I think I might have heard it once or twice.
