Nice work man. I have a 2017 Sorento 2.4 that purchased new in 2016. It is an awesome vehicle and has been very reliable, but it pains me to know that it is only a matter of time before the engine has to be replaced. I still get synthetic oil changes at the dealer with an OEM filter every 6 months or 5k miles, even though I feel like using better oil and more frequent oil changes only prolong the inevitable. Mine has 60k miles and doesn't use any oil between changes. At least the engine is covered under warranty when it does start knocking or has major oil usage.
I just pulled the front bumper and radiator support off ours and rolled it right out the front only takes like an 1.5 hours to remover everything to do it that way and it can all be done ground kevel🎉
My daughter's 2016 Sorento's engine (90K miles) is going to be replaced under warranty via the dealer. Is there a list of items that should be replaced since the dealer might reuse parts that need to be replaced soon anyways? For example, spark plugs, coolant, trans fluid etc.? That would be helpful. Thank you in advance!
It would help but, I would recommend belt and hose's due to it been 90k and with texas heat puts alot of stress on the hose's , note: if motor was replaced under warranty and motor fails due to a bad hose's they will not cover it again.

Or flashing engine light , just make sure your vehicle has the latest ECU upgrade , you can check at your local dealership with a full Vin number.

1.5 just to remove just the front end or engine included?
Can you swap a 2.4 for a 3.3? My 2.4 is burning oil, I got it new in Mexico 7 years ago and Kia USA does not want to give warranty
