I just got a set of these +17.5 Brawler wheels and Destroyer tires for my Axial SMT10 Solid Axle Monster Truck and they do not fit properly. I can only get 2 threads on the axle nut & the hub doesn't seat on the 12mm hex very well...What do I need to do to make these work? Pretty bummed...Any help would be greatly appreciated... :-/
Hello Pete, there are a couple of options. you can go with a hex that does not have the "Shoulder" that the stock SMT10 Hexes have, or you can grind off the should from the stock SMT10 Hex. Thank you Pete, if yo uhave any further questions, please contact Customer Service at (951) 849-9781 or e-mail customerservice@prolineracing.com
I have these. They just clear the large carrier hubs on my revo. I bought 12 mil hexes with larger center holes that accomodate the larger axle pins and larger diameter axle stubs. All is well until i cant fit a nut driver into the front opening of the wheel. Any ideas? My tool is a 8.0 mil driver and the head just wont fit in the hole. In the real car/truck world, when this happens, theres what they call a "thin wall" socket . i dont know of anything like that in rc. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Id hate to have to sell these off and buy something else. Thanks!
Unfortunately, these wheels are intended for use with a 7mm Nut and we are unaware of an option to fit a tool within this area using an 8mm nut. you might consult your local hobby shop to see if they have an option for you. Thank you for your support.
@@ProLineRacingYT thanks for your time guys. Local hobbytown usa recomended a 8mil glow plug wrench. MIP also appears to make thinner walled tools of various mil. Ends up, a tool from Hudy is the one i used to make these work on my revo project. Thanks for your time and thoughts and quick response, you guys have earned lots of my money and i will continue to support your company in many ways !
if the Groundpounder has a 12mm hex and the knuckle is compatible with the Brawler Wheel inner Diameter, then yes. most likely if it is a solid axle MT then it will be compatible.
Looks like they're made to fit a 12mm hex, the Maxx trucks are a minimum of 14mm, plus they might be too small to clear the old style Maxx knuckles, let alone the newer Revo pieces.
It is possible that they will fit on there assuming the Blackfoot uses a 12mm hex. there may be an issue with the threaded shaft length being long enough to accommodate this oversize wheel. also, these wheels are very wide, there could be an issue with steering as well. I would suggest looking at our 2.8" wheels and Tires: www.prolineracing.com/1-10-monster-truck/
@@owen4255 Hey Zhai, apologies, this Tire and Wheel combination does indeed require a glue-up in order to be properly fitted. we recommend Pro-Line Tire Glue (#6031-00): www.prolineracing.com/accessories/pro-line-tire-glue.asp
Hi dansepticeye, Yes, our 2.6 Brawler Wheels have a 12mm hex, which makes them compatible with the Stampede. We also recommend our 2.8 Pre-mounted Destroyer Tires which are the perfect fit for Stampede without any second guessing. You can find them here: www.prolineracing.com/tires/destroyer-2-8-all-terrain-traxxas-style-bead-mounted-f-11-front/
Yes, an Allen/Hex wrench, key, or drill bit are all compatible tools to mount these wheels and tires. Thank you for your support! We appreciate your business.
Got these today, and now fitted on my Tamiya clod buster. Much better look .
They look great! Gonna have to get them for my Blackfoot

Thank You very much for the quick response.
I'll order some new 12mm hexes without shoulder & keep my original set as spares to use stock wheels.
Pro-Line Racing what 12mm hex can I purchase I am having the same issue with my Axial smt10
Macomb Cougars Traxxas front or rear hex depending on your setup. My dads Traxxas Bigfoot #1 rear hex fit my smt10.
Why were these wheels discontinued? Are they going to be replaced with something new?
nice

will these wheels fit on a redcat groundpounder?

Can i use those wheels with my traxxas E maxx?

+Rc Carrier Unfortunately, not. They use the 12mm hex size and so will not mount correctly.
+GreenJeep1998 Thank you :)
i just drill out 12mm hexes and they fit perfectly
I put this combo on my Traxxas stampede and I've blown up 2 sets of planetary gears. Any suggestions.
@@RC-ty5ym darn they're so much fun though

So no glue will be needed?
Pro-Line Racing cool, I just got the 10114-02 destroyer tires(with foams) and brawler wheels, so to assemble them I just do the same as you did right?
